Maybe our ground is radioactive, or whatever it is that causes brittle bone disease and wastage of ligaments.
There was cadmium found in the soil of my great aunts back garden in Reading, I don't recall bone, tissue wastage specifically per se but she definitely died of cancer shortly afterwards.
I still firmly believe that the pitch at St James causes Newcastle to seem to have an almost never ending injury crisis, seen transcripts of players interviewed that say its like playing on concrete.
Soft tissue injuries on our training ground seem to be caused by player fatigue through lack of rotation, or a training schedule that probably involves a lot of running, jumping and stretching but very little in the way of anything that bulks up muscles and builds endurance,
