Is £14m cheap for a Bayern squad player? Ok Bayern are bloody good so maybe it is. Gustavo is a step up from Arteta but let's not get too carried away. He's decent.
Yeah he's not a cheap option in the slightest. Just because he's not first choice anymore doesn't make him any less of a player, I mean, their midfield is absurd. He was an important player for Bayern the other year and they missed him in the final against Chelsea.
14m is good business to pick up a player from the most talented squad in Europe. We could pay twice that for a player of the same quality but more high profile.
