In fairness to Gareth Southgate why should he pick Wilshere
Wenger going on during the week about how he should be in the England side
Well most of the call ups are playing regularly for their club side
Plus I know you can’t judge someone by their last game, but Wilshere was embarrassingly poor the last time he started (against Norwich a championship side).
I want Wilshere to start first team games not league cup/Europa league fixtures. If for no better reason than to get either Xhaka or Ramsey out of the side, and then can be talk about picking him for the national side.
I'd rather he didn't play in friendlies anyway.
