So Ferguson told his camp to hold fire for 6 months and he did only to be more interested in signing for us after the 6 months. Seems a little odd to me.

Surely a young player looking for the best possible start and looking to learn should probably choose United, they have a manager who seems to get the best out of players and wins trophies.

He might initially get more games with us, but he'll become a better player at United. With us he'll end up passing the ball a lot and not developing for years.

Surely he could have been loaned back to Southampton for the 6 months if that was the real reason?

Arsenal and UTD after Chambelain.........all the reports about this kid are postive......but are we to believe it if the pther stories are true Arsenal/Hazard - UTD/Young

Utd can afford to bring in a teenager and then nuture him for the future......us on the other hand need an immediate fix........sound like another case of the Walcotts......bit of a project who to be honest we are still waiting to bear fruit

Interesting Summer so far.

We sign a promising 2nd Division kid....I repeat kid!

Liverpool and Man Utd pay whats needed to secure talents that had been our targets.
One chooses United for footballing reasons..after actually speaking to Arsene.

United go after one of our best players who refuses to sign a contract, and United hope to gazump our long running chase for Theo Walcott 2.



I hope it improves from here.

I think we were haggling over small prints too, we could have quite easily wrapped up the deal in January. You know what's it like at Arsenal, all our transfers are long drawn out sagas....
