Higuain was the deal. World class, wanted to come here and his wage demands appeared to be reasonable. Missing that one fucked everything else. Actually seeing Higuain turn up and put the shirt on would have been a much bigger message that pretending we are ready to spend £40mill on a player. Seems to me the Higuain transfer was achievable rather than a fairy story like Suarez.
