Or if you're Wenger; We have Giroud who can play there.

This line-up could give Schalke food for thought . I believe it is the best we got ATM . Time to drop Podolski and let him come from the bench . He looks a bit jaded due to hard work helping out shitty left backs . Cazorla can operate anywhere across the midfield , with Jack back , we can try him on the left wing . Coquelin has shown some maturity and improvement down the middle . He can do the anchorman without a problem . I watched him vs Man U , he didn't put his foot wrong . Santos should be simply dropped as he will be short of confidence following his late shaky display and his shirt swap saga.
hopefully santos starts, breaks his leg inside 5 minutes then has to go off. TV shifts to LB and kos comes on as CB.
alpha's starting 11 looks pretty decent. maybe arshavin in for cazorla who looks exhausted already.
Santos dropped and Theo and Giroud both start.

BREAKING: Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Olivier Giroud all start for Arsenal in againsy Schalke. Laurent Koscielny comes in for Andre Santos in defence, with Thomas Vermaelen switching to left-ba
Oooh, On Paper football
Arsenal: Mannone - Sagna - Mertesacker - Koscielny - Vermaelen - Arteta - Wilshere - Cazorla - Podolski - Walcott - Giroud
And a ridiculously shit bench.
Subs: Shea, Santos, Djourou, Jenkinson, Coquelin, Arshavin, Chamakh
so santos dropped, vermaelen to left back with kos into centre back.
wrong decision imo, should have dropped vermaelen and santos, played both sagna and jenkinson as full backs. vermaelen is horribly out of form, moving him to left back is likely to increase his already high error rate.
Fucking yes. Theo wins. Now get us into the knockouts before you bugger off xxx
Well done to Wenget for being pro-active and taking Santos out.
Can't possibly be as bad as Santos, nobody can. So it's an improvement. TV dropped and Jenks in was the no-brainer, but with TV being the captain we're a bit fucked. Quite surprised Wenger hasn't tried to get the game postponed in light of Ramsey being unavailable.
