Cazorla MOTM so far
Cazorla would've had an assisting the assister there.
Forlan is due
Perez off, Forlan on.
Forlan, thought he retired
Flop at United
Legend everywhere else.
Sergio Ramos is such a scrote. Gets away with it again.
No real force in that challenge. Still, someone with the experience of Ramos shouldn't be making a tackle like that.
Xavi off, Javi Martinez on.
Martinez is awesome
Is Cazorla even playing?
Pedro hauled off
Mata on
Spain 2-1 Uruguay, Suarez. Great freekick.
Suarez is awesome
Sergio Ramos. :haha:
Four added minutes.
How is that not a free kick?
Perfect free kick. Pity he's a total head case.
This ref is terrible.
Spain 2-1 Uruguay FT
Spain 2-1 Uruguay, FT. Spain were mostly very good.
Scruffy second half, but a Spanish masterclass none the less.
Spain boring as fuck in the 2nd half.
We all Tahiti fans against them?
Iniesta, what a player.
BBC having a shocker today.

FIFA CONFEDERATIONS CUP - GROUP B
Tahiti v Nigeria 20:00
Come on Tahiti.
Do Spain sometimes fall into a trap that when things are going so easily for them, like last night, since they're happy enough just to play it around [to the ire of most of the crowd] that they don't do enough to actually kill a game off?
When Suarez scored you could sense their panic despite the domination. And quite simply, they should never be in that position.
And whilst they're obviously a phenomenal team [although for some reason, the BBC experts couldn't figure out why; them being "good passers" being the extent of their insight] they're all ****s. Absolute ****s. Literally couldn't touch them without rolling on the floor. I don't mean in the Stoke-style "don't like it up 'em". Any tackle that had a chance of brushing a player was off limits. And yet most of them are the slimiest, cheating ****s you could find. Have a modicum of class ffs. You're the best, you know it, we know it, stop acting like dicks.
Of course it didn't help that the ref was seemingly roped in off the streets.
And as much as I admire their ability, I hope to god they get smashed next year by someone, anyone. Partly to bring them back down to Earth a bit, and partly to make things a little more interesting. But in all likelihood, they won't.
Fancy one of the South American teams (Brazil, Argentina or Uruguay) to win it, being on home soil and what not.
It would also be good if Germany could finally go that extra mile but they'll probably fall just short again.
Basically, anyone but fucking Spayne.

Cool anthem that
'O Little Town Of Bethlehem/how still we see thee lie"...
Listening to those scorelines... I'm encouraged.
