Off the top of my head I'd say around 1 in 2. But obviously at their peak it was much higher.

I think he means in terms of quality they are a bit closer together this time. Buoyed by the quality of the Germans and maybe Barca not being as inhuman as we've seen in the past.

i think the differences are as clear as in the past - in fact i'd place the german teams head and shoulders above both the spanish teams right now with juventus sandwiched inbetween. it doesn't feel any different to any normal year to me - there are still a couple of teams that really stand out on performances and another couple that merit a threat based on reputation.

@ Cripps... I'm still awaiting proof showing Messi was offside for his 2nd goal.

it was very fast but he was offside - they showed the freeze frame at half time.

half a step ahead when the ball was passed to him, stepped back onside and banged it in.

Evens out the stonewall pel they didn't get anyway.
