Yeah great idea signing a 32 year old midfielder who is well past his best and hasn't performed well since he's been at Man City (since 2009). I agree this is the most believable as he'd be available on the cheap which is the kind of deals we like, hope this is BS though.
We don't need anymore squaddies or players to do a 'steady' job. Even if we did it would be better to buy a mid-range young player with room to improve. Not a washed up, limited player like Barry who can't even run anymore.

One of my biggest fears for this transfer window is that some of the players we are after, want CL footie and since we're not sure to be in the CL until the end of aug (or the 9th if we draw an easy team) we could be waiting 1½ months before seeing any big names comming in :s

So it should soon be official that Frankfurt is signing Nicklas ****ner, he was photographed at their stadium yesterday, the stupid **** has just been waiting for Arsenal to give in, so Frankfurt will be paying what they offered him and Arsenal will pay the rest, so it matches what he would get at Arsenal for the next year.
