No Today at Wimbledon tonight? Could've sworn there was one for the final last year.
Weird. It's not like there isn't anything positive to say about Murray's performance.
Oh yeah i forgot about that
MS :haha:
Murray had the chances in the second set. It's the difference between great and very good though. Murray still doesn't convert enough break points and against the three guys above him, he has to take at least one. Federer, Djokovic and Nadal can play well below their standard, but will take their solitary chance ruthlessly. Murray doesn't kill his opponent off when he has an opportunity. It happened against Nadal last year, Djokovic in January and now Federer. As soon as Federer got in front, he was in full control. Lendl's main advice to Murray should be to turn into Tsonga on break points and just go mental, because he'll continue to be the almost man otherwise.
Castle was truly awlful as well. Just let Boris do it on his own.
Anyway, come on Olympics Tennis .
Murray just had another interview
Shown on BBC 2
Murray
With Euros over and now Wimbledon, summer is pretty much dead

3-1 prediction spot on, should have placed a bet ☹ hahaha! Great game, fair play to Andy Murray but Roger was in his back garden #bestever

@TomHuddlestone6 do one Tom. If u achieve a fraction of what Andy Murray has u will b a lucky man. Some how I doubt u will.

Apologies to all. Especially Tom. Cheap shot. Just gutted Andy lost. Will leave the tweeting to Keysie.

Looks legit and I assume it is.
Murray's a badass. He did the first bit right by getting through to the final as soon as Nadal went out. We only half-expected him to do it, but he did, so he deserves some recognition for that. I do think he injured himself in that third set, in that 20 minute game, and that set the tone for the rest of the match. However, he didn't admit to it, and nor did he crumble- he's come on leaps and bounds in these last couple of years.
Federer's done it, fair play to him. However, I do think that the tennis that the likes of Djokovic, Tsonga, Murray and to some extent Nadal play is thoroughly more enjoyable.
Here's to Murray reaching that pinnacle of success very soon! :trophy:
In that case :haha:
Telegraph: Brave Murray succumbs to fantastic Federer.
So predictable.
Never any doubt.
Paes is serving to keep him and Vesnina in the Championship.
Olympics Tennis is still best of three sets (apart from the final), which is disappointing.
Could lead to a surprise winner again. Maybe.
Nadal should be less knackered than the other top guys, despite his knee problems.
If Fed gets to play under the roof, he'll probably win it. I wouldn't have thought there would be a huge surprise winner, like 2004.
How is the draw made, same way as any other event?
Break point for Paes/Vesnina.
And they break back! 5-5.
India and Russia.
The draw will be made on the 26th of this month
Hope its televised with Noel Gallagher picking the balls out
Paes cocks up the set point, still another one to go.
Paes/Vesnina take the second set 7-5.

Braveheart Murray was bravely outclassed to lose his fourth final and cry bravely into the microphone. One word comes to mind: brave.
It's less prestigious than a Masters Series tournament (in terms of points) and has the four-players-per-country limit, but is otherwise pretty much the same as a normal ATP event.
You'd think only Tsonga could spring somewhat of a surprise really, with it being familiar territory for the players. Olympic magic could be in the air though and there's always some odd results.
Interesting, so Muzza/GB should at least avoid Nadal/Spain again then, until the final. Having said that, he'd get Djokovic/Serbia, which isn't much better.
I want Rosol to be in it!
Lashing it down on the roof again.
Rain sounds awlsome.
Unless you're in it.
Or it disrupts tennis.
Bryan/Raymond to serve it out. Well, Bryan.
Bryan/Raymond win 6-3 5-7 6-4!
Paes.
Give it up old man.
How many partners has he gone through now?
I suppose he'll keep going until he completes the career Grand Slam in the mixed doubles (at RG). He'll destroy Santoro's record (and caption when he is on TV) of most GS appearances.
Bahrami.
I didn't get to see much of him this time around, truly the Denilson (not our one) of tennis.
