Hmmmmm.....
I think we need to wait another two games to see...

Watching City try and break down the Liverpool bus was painful. I can understand why Mancini wants more players now. He's already conceded the gutless lesbian turd can't do 1/10th of what Silva does. Adam Johnson a once in a blue moon player. No one big and black to replace Toure. It could be a bit of a struggle, these few weeks, if Silva is out for a while.
City. :haha:
Got to expect Liverpool to finish the job now.
Liverpool were terrible in the second half. If Citeh get Silva and Balotelli fully fit for the second leg, they could suffer.
And Bellamy is more of a 'once in a blue moon player' than Johnson. He has the odd game where he looks brilliant but is mostly the Championship player he was last season. Did he even touch the ball today?
Citeh's constant diving at the end was funny.
And Mancini's crying.
Dunno.
It seemed like we had a plan. A negative one yes, but we were organised and positionally very good. City were relatively toothless and created surprisingly little considering how much possession they had and how much we didn't press forward. As you say, should Silva come back we'd change our game, but tonight it worked.
I'll take being terrible and winning 1-0 every single week.
Fair enough, but they probably had enough chances to punish you. They look completely unremarkable without Silva though.
Also, seeing as Carroll is worse than Bendtner at controlling and utilising a football, surely Kuyt would be a better option? He may be less threatening in the air, but he could ease some pressure by holding on to the ball and would at least work hard and harry opposition defenders.
You don't put Jamie Carragher in midfield if you don't have a plan. The bus park worked very well. They will have to show more at Anfield though, no doubt.
Would be surprised if Liverpool don't buy a striker. Not sure who.
Unfortunately Kuyt seems to have lost his main attribute this season. And actually I'd say one of the worst parts of his game is his first touch. He'd make Carroll look like Messi with close ball control. He and Maxi (Benayoun Mk.II) will be off soon, as with Aurelio (unless he stays on as a coach).
Carroll was actually OK when we were giving him support in the first half. Obviously still donkey-like but better than usual. It was when we totally backed off and got no one within 30 yards of him that he looked poor.
