As for wholesale changes, dumping Senderos/Silvestre/Gallas when only one of them was able to put in decent performances for the first team and he was by most accounts a bit of a canker in terms of team spirit and bringing in two more guys (one of whom is actually quite good despite all claims to the contrary) is a good move and doesn't comprise of weakening the team (although we were a little more dodgy when we had the new guys holding together our defence, should have bit the bullet and got Jagielka or whoever imo but we ran out of time, bad negotiating I guess, weirdly that was when we were doing alright though). You'd think a complete capitulation at the end of the season when all of our stars were present would be enough to illustrate that change is once again necessary.
As for teams fighting to keep their players, we have done and other teams haven't at various times so I don't see how that's exclusive to Arsenal/Arsene.
Last paragraph I agree completely with and I think we'll keep all but one of our wantaway stars (i.e. one of Cesc or Nasri, although given Nasri didn't stand up when it counted it's debatable as to how useful he is) so all this hullabaloo about selling to the Mancs and our team falling apart is unnecessary. Incidentally on the point of us not having any of the Invincibles, we've been through rather a large uprooting and system of change since then so I think it's a bit of a rare situation.
