The stadiums were practically empty for the last 2 maybe 3 Tests of the Ashes. Hardly an Aussie to be seen.

Fact of the matter is, England won a Test series. yay. Teams do that every series.

When it matters, they flopped. World Cups come along every 4 years and especially after their T20 win last year, they would have wanted the big one.

A shocking winter when all is said and done for England.

Put it anyway you want it. You just had to look at the faces of those players when they landed back in England. Those faces to me didnt seem like they had a good winter.

I hope so, I quite like the guy. Thought it was harsh on him to be dropped during the Ashes but they did get it right I suppose.

He was the leading wicket taker for England in the series before he was dropped?
