Internationals: Ramsey leads Wales at Wembley
Sixteen members of the Arsenal first team were called up by their countries for the recent international break. Here is a digest of all the games featuring the Gunners.

Aaron Ramsey captained Wales and was Man of the Match against England at Wembley on Tuesday. After the game, the Arsenal midfielder said: "I am happy with my performance and the team’s performance. We could have got something out of the game, it wasn’t to be, but we can take a lot of positives from the game. We outplayed them in the second half. We did ourselves proud. We did really well and that is two good performances on the bounce now. We can build from that now and take a lot of heart into the next games.” Ramsey was on the scoresheet on Friday as Gary Speed's side beat Montenegro 2-1 in Cardiff.

Theo Walcott did not feature for Fabio Capello's side as they beat Wales 1-0 at Wembley on Tuesday. The winger played 82 minutes of England's 3-0 victory over Bulgaria in Sofia on Friday night.

Netherlands 11-0 San Marino, September 2
Robin van Persie played 67 minutes for the Dutch side which dispatched Finland 2-0 in Helsinki on Tuesday to confirm their qualification for Euro 2012. The striker was in lethal form for the Netherlands on Friday night, netting four times as Bert van Marwijk's side brushed aside San Marino 11-0 in Eindhoven. The striker became the first Holland player to score four goals in a European Championships qualifier since Marco van Basten netted a record five against Malta in December 1990.

South Korea 6-0 Lebanon, September 2
Chu Young Park continued his scoring streak for South Korea with another strike in his side's 1-1 draw with Kuwait on Tuesday. On Friday the new signing from Monaco hit a hat-trick as South Korea secured an emphatic victory in their World Cup qualifier against Lebanon.

Per Mertesacker played the full 90 minutes in Germany's 2-2 friendly draw with Poland in Gdansk on Tuesday, captaining the side in the second half. The new signing from Werder Bremen was an unused substitute in Germany's 6-2 Euro 2012 qualifier win against Austria on Friday.

Bacary Sagna played the full 90 minutes as France battled to a 0-0 draw against Romania in Bucharest on Tuesday. Laurent Koscielny was an unused substitute. Sagna missed France's 2-1 victory over Albania on Friday with a virus, while Koscielny was again on the bench.

Andrey Arshavin played the full 90 minutes and captained Russia to a goalless draw against Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland in Moscow on Tuesday. The midfielder also played a whole match on Friday to help the the Russians to a 1-0 win against Macedonia.

Yossi Benayoun captained Israel to a 3-1 defeat against Croatia in his side's Euro 2012 qualifier in Zagreb on Tuesday. The new loan signing from Chelsea also played the full 90 minutes as Israel went down 1-0 at home to Greece in their Euro 2012 qualifier in Tel Aviv on Friday.

Tomas Rosicky did not feature for the Czech Republic side that brushed aside Ukraine 4-0 on Tuesday. The midfielder captained his country to a 2-2 draw in their Euro 2012 qualifier against Scotland on Saturday.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain entered the fray as a half-time substitute against Israel Under-21s and stamped his mark on the match with a hand in all three goals. The winger laid on strikes for Martyn Waghorn, Marvin Sordell and Henri Lansbury before winning the penalty which Nathan Delfouneso converted. The recent acquisition from Southampton played 76 minutes of England Under-21s' 6-0 Euro 2013 qualifier victory over Azerbaijan Under-21s at Watford's Vicarage Road on Thursday night.
