Can’t say either side look like they’ve jumped a level from last year. Chelsea look like they’re running to stand still, trying to replace all the players they’ve lost / binned off, and spurs look like they’ve just doubled down on options they already had - doesn’t look like they’ve added any new tricks.
Nothing changed from last year then - spurs still getting all the dodgy decisions going their way and puffing their points with 100th minute equalisers and winners.
On the plus side, though, nothing has changed from last year! Looks like they’re still only built to play counter-attacking football with a back three and no creativity in midfield.
A draw was a good result, whatever 'Pool do tomorrow we'll be second after two matches.
It's on
Wasn’t overly impressed by either team. That said, James and Cucurella look like a great fullback pairing
Maybe not corrupt in that it favours certain teams over others, but corrupt so that it manufactures drama and excitement? I can see that.
The tackle on Havertz isn't so egregious imo, but I don't know how even an incompetent ref/VAR can look at the hair pull (:handbags:) and not call it a foul.
