Also Maccy, this is why I doubted Federer's chances. Here or at any other Slam.
Benneteau's not exactly an up-and-comer (and Federer will probably still win) but he just can't dominate and hit through opponents any more. Not only is the depth in men's tennis getting better every year, every surface is becoming more or less the same. Everything has levelled out and for someone with a quick game like Federer, it's a disadvantage. He's obviously not able to stay at an incredibly high level for long periods either these days.
No Berdych or Tsonga to threaten his half this year, but it won't necessarily have to be someone that good.

I don't think what you say holds too much relevance for this match, there have been unforced errors sure but generally this is like Rosol yesterday, a guy going for his shots and coming up trumps.
