Arshavin played well for two games?
More like he played well in one, was hit and miss in the second and useless in the third.
Seems to mirror his Arsenal career.
Or maybe it was Advocaat playing him in the wrong position again?
Or not motivating him.
Advocaat out.
Heard Advocaat didn't share a drink with Santos after the game. What a classless clown.
I bet he earns 7 million Abramodollars too.
What's he up to? :unsure:Quote:

Keep Arshavin
Sell the rest

sounds good to me

Doesnt sound too good to me
WTF do they mean possibly? The only possibly is why we would possibly want to keep him.Quote:

Looks like West Ham will beat us to him
I'm hearing the Daily Star's chief football writer Danny Fullbrook has died. 40 years old.
Ssn claims Giroud deal is done. Will be made official after the euros.

Welcome again Giroud.
Giroud.
What a beautiful man.
two top strikers for 20 million with m'vila added in there (i hope) for an extra 17million. spent a lot, got a lot. someone seems to have learnt. this is good
i think the most important thing is preparing early on for a possible departure of rvp and not leaving it last minute like last summer. it looks like we're doing that which is good news. just need to buy a DM and maybe a versatile defender, then get rid of 6/7 players and we should be good to go.
No one will want RVP after the shocker he's had at the Euros so looks like we'll be keeping him.
you'll be saying that with tongue in cheek but tbh its actually better for us. he now realises how it feels to have pressure on you and the fans/media being on your back constantly, which the dutch people have been during the euro's. if he moves away from us he'll have to experience that at a new club especially if it doesn't work out relatively quickly at the club. at arsenal he can go 10 games without scoring and we'll still cheer his name on. he feels at home with us. but if he leaves for another club then it could spell the end of his career as noone will be as loyal as we are. its a big risk to take.
having a bad tournament could work in our favour.
Yeah RVP has fucked up any chance of a move to a top club by playing like a Stoke City player in the Euros. In fact if someone is stupid enough to come in with a £30M bid, we should bite their hands off and use the money to strengthen the team in all areas, not just up front. He's on the decline now, and while he bailed us out last season by getting us into 3rd place, we can't be sentimental and should flog him if the right offer comes in.
Hopefully we can tie up M'Vila, then I think we're pretty much good to go, anyone else will probably be a bonus signing.
I'm hoping we can find buyers for Dennis Bendtner, Denilson, Fat Fuck, Chakma, Park etc. That would really be the cherry on top and represent a good turnover of players.
Net spend.
Giroud whilst an underwhelming signing is a signing that isnt a kid or French African so a step in the right direction
Wont play much if RVP stays/stays fit but lets see how he does in the ridiculously named Capital One Cup
If we tie up RVP, this will be one of the best transfer window for Arsenal in ages!!
We need more
Much more
A keeper, a right back for cover, could do with a CB as we only have 3 decent ones and a LB cos Gibbs nor Santos impress, an attacking midfielder cos we dont really have one.
Or summarised, we supposedly offered £130K a week, City are supposedly offering £250K a week. That's over £6mill a year additional to make up for any booing that might arise from the glory hunters at the gypo camp. Two explanations for this sudden desire to recruit strikers, either RvP is gone or Stan is getting serious about what happens on the pitch. I'd guess the chances are 90% former, 1% latter, 9% something else entirely.
Yep, of course he's fucked it up. 3 games in an unbalanced Dutch side is more than enough to conclude his last 50 games for Arsenal were mere flukes. I agree, he's rapidly gone downhill in the last few weeks. In fact he's a terrible player, awful. A pretender who has managed to con most people based solely on being top scorer in the PL and winning all the awards. There's only a few people here who weren't conned by his perpetual goalscoring antics. And even if RvP stays and continues to score goals at Arsenal it still doesn't mean he's a decent player. He'll have to put in a good few more seasons winning the golden boot before he deserves any credit from bitter little tossers who made themselves a laughing stock and are now desperately trying to vindicate themselves.
