The thing with Palace is that they have the potential to become a PL heavyweight. The cachement area (South London/Croydon) is massive and Croydon Council want to build them a new Stadium. They need a good manager and a few years of comfort in the PL to establish themselves.
They need to Stoke it up in other words.
