At the end of the day we have no CL which everyone always hails as an advantage and yet we're laggin well behind, frankly it's a very poor show, most of this season has been a poor show, scraping wins, average performances, nothing about us is convincing, but 4th place is nothing to ride home about, it's only in football where 4th place is hailed as some sort of success, in most other sports it's failure.Quote:

Me too, the predictability of our CL performance made it so boring, we knew from the day we were in it we wouldn't get anywhere and there's no pleasure in that. At least with the Europa league we're not sure where it will end, we may not win it but at least we won't be going out in the last 16 whilst getting humbled by a decent team in the last 16 every season.Quote:

I agree money talks, the bigger issue is Wenger, noone is going to believe this guy is going to win us anything or has any ambition, if you were a footballer would you rather sign for an ambitious young manager with ambitions some sort of plan to be successful, or some old dinosaur who thinks 4th place is what it's all about? With him in charge it's probably even more difficult to attract decent players.
