I think Wenger has settled for the 4th place trophy, he's consolidating.

We've not been great in the first half of too many games this season so it's if we have a sedate second half we'll know if it's a poor reaction or not.

This is what happens when you neglect pace and athleticism for "technique". No threat, no hope. Wenger is an obsessive.

Giroud has really mastered that pained look on his face as he puts another effort wide. Lack of pace killing us, we miss you Theo.

Ozil at least looking a bit brighter. Wish he'd have a few more shots though.

Build a team where almost half of your 1st team players are central attack mids, no wide players, and fullbacks who offer fucc all in the attack.

We seem desperate for RvP to score.....let's step it up before that happens. The passing is decent until it really matters in the final third......deary me.

We have failed to show up yet AGAIN during the first half. Who should take the blame for this? No prizes for guessing... someone at Arsenal responsible for this, makes 8 million quid a year to do fuck all..

After losing 5-1 it's not unreasonable to expect the team to come out with all guns blazing, chasing down the opposition and trying to force errors. Instead we've been our casual selves, trying to basically stop them from scoring (though they ended up with the best 2 chances to do so) that's not tactics it's negativity.

At least we haven't conceded and barring that first minute cock up from Sir Ches we've looked pretty solid.

Given the defeat at the weekend item one on the agenda is not to lose and not to concede.

Hopefully in second half we can put away one or two chances.

The lack of pace and width as many have commented makes us so predictable and easy to defend against.

I actually think Ozil has played well.....although there was one occasion when he should have played Giroud in and didn't. You could be forgiven for that though, given just how short of top quality Giroud is looking right now.....

Forget having a fight with Vidic....just keep dragging him out of position and hope one of ours falls into the gap and stumbles over the ball to somehow shimmy it in.

Considering the 2 chances we gave away it's more through luck than judgment. The agenda should be to prove something and go out and score and win.

I'd rather see that in the second half, if it's possible. We haven't conceded so that's a good enough reaction for me, so far.
