worst ever defensive season, signs two strikers
wumger
M'vilas behaviour after the Spain game has come under scrutiny and he might be punished.
Do we really need a trouble maker like him?
Fair enough, if he was quality then you'd risk it but hes widely regarded as being a bit shit
No thanks

a) We had an exceptional number of injuries in defence last year - hopefully they will be fit again for next year.
b) maybe he has not finshed buying yet
c) a more potent strike force causes the opponents to keep more players back and thus reduces their attack threat, helping the defence.
We keep RvP and we've taken a big step forwards already with the addition of two Arteta type signings. Let RvP go and it's a big step backwards. It still all comes down to RvP staying.
M'Vila deal is off, probably because the chavs are now interested.
We still need a DM and attacking midfielder. Ben Arfa...

From a couple of days ago. Got Giroud since then but with RVP going, we need another strikerQuote:
Arsenal are reportedly lining up a £10million bid for Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez, as speculation about Robin van Persie's future continues to grow.
The Gunners skipper is still to agree terms for a new contract to replace the one that expires in 2013 and Manchester City are rumoured to be ready to spend £20million to land the Dutchman.
It now appears Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is searching for a new frontman, despite having already signed Germany international Lukas Podolski from Cologne.
His target is Atletico's rising star Adrian, reports Spanish newspaper AS.
The Gunners are apparently prepared to pay £10million for the 24-year-old, but the Madrid club will hold out for the full £14.5million stipulated in the buyout clause of his contract.
Arsenal scouts watched Adrian in action on ten occasions last season and Wenger is said to be a big admirer of him.
He has impressed since joining Atletico from Deportivo La Coruna 12 months ago and played an important role in his new club's Europa League success.
His performances also caught the eye of Spain coach Vicente del Bosque and Adrian made his full international debut in May, although he was not included in the 23-man squad for Euro 2012.

We'll need not just another striker but a £40mill to £50mill top quality signing to replace RvP. That won't happen so where we're going if he leaves is backwards at an alarming pace. Losing our captain yet again would make us the biggest laughing stock in world football. A club pretending to be among the elite but in reality a feeder outfit with our noses pressed to the glass as our competitors wander past browsing for anything that takes their fancy. And if RvP ends up at camp gypo then we really have spelled out in letters a hundred feet tall our total capitulation. Nobody has any real details yet by the sound of it, it's all speculation. But it's a major concern he hasn't signed. He could have done it easily enough if his intention to stay coincided with our determination to keep him. One or the other (or both) those things must have come up short. It's such a rare thing to have a player who can genuinely pull a result out of the fire. RvP did that on many occasions last season and pulled our arse out of the fire. I don't see Podolski and Giroud being capable in that respect, certainly strong additions and a step on from dross like Chamakh and Bendtner, but they aren't game changers. We'll rely on Jack making a 100% recovery and Ox stepping up to levels way beyond any reasonable expectation to provide the real class in our team. A massive gamble to put it mildly. RvP must stay or next season is over before it begins.
Vela, Park and Squilachi are on the verge of leaving this week. Bendtner in talks with 3 clubs.
Fulham are offering 5mill for Ramsey.
Good news , Ramsey had his chance to show what he could do but didn't show it , constantly breaking our play up , and with Wilshere returning isn't really needed now. Perhaps we could offer abit more to get Dempsey aswell
And we have to keep RVP, incase Giroud turns out to be a flop.
Yeah, and if Whilshire isn't back to his best by December, we should also flog him for half his market value.
Don't know if you are being sarcy but lets assume you aren't. He was basically asked to replace Fabregas, a world class midfielder in his first full season at the club in a constantly changing team with changing tactics and then just as he was getting used to it our complete tit of a manager shifted him out to the left!
He had a bad season but there is no way he should be written off or IMO that last season should be used as an indication of his ability or potential. Everyone sucked his cock when we bought him and until he got knacked by that jibbering fuckstick at Stoke he looked quality, its just taken him time to get his mojo back.
However if he doesnt pick up this season i well be more open to his criticism. I would suggest that we have a few of these players who seem to be perpetually out of form and yet played over and over but i know the Wenger lovers will cry if i dare suggest his man-management skills are a bit shit.
half a year and half his value?
on a free after 3 months
what an idiot
Ramsey should go out on loan, nothing else. Needs a chance to prove himself and get his form back.
Let's get a Rosicky style comeback out of Ramsey. He still has the potential to be an excellent player and he's young. £5mill is an insult for that potential given the prices British players go for. We'll need him knowing our injury record. We'll need everyone excluding Park.
park isn't a person. he does not exist.
A bit extreme to sell Rambo. Awful player but he can get better.
he's worse than awful. he's non human.
a terrible excuse for a person who has no right lifting his leg attempting to walk, let alone kick a football.
what a scumball.
It's not that serious.
But he'll have to get better and improve his game if he wants first team football. Last year was a massive opportunity for him to claim his spot. This year, he'll see more bench time and I doubt we'd hesitate to sell if he quicks up a stink.
he'd be better off back in a cast tbh
he is wengers boy and we all know what happens there. he'll be here for quite some time yet and thankfully so. loads of ability, he just needs to figure out what sort of player he wants to become.
Not Ramsey's biggest fan but he was a big part of our recovery last Autumn playing every game. He went to shit after Christmas which was also the time Rosicky started to perform consistently and eventually took his place.
Having said that though, I wouldn't really lose any sleep if we decided to sell him. I don't have the patience anymore for these young players who are deemed to have "potential", it seems as though we're forever waiting for them to come to fruition. We need players, regardless of age, who are ready to deliver now and Ramsey is certainly not one of them,

We must keep Ramsey as he will become one of the finest midfielders in England if he develops to his full extent but a loan spell at a lower club would do him a lot of good.
Galatasaray make Arshavin contact...

Could see him and Eboue on opposite flanks next season for them
Let the clear out commence.
Keep Arshavin
Still has it as seen for Zenit and Russia the past few months
Give them Forehead
