Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila has hinted that he would welcome the chance to work with Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.
The France international is one of several players that Goal.com revealed the Gunners to be targeting this summer – and his current boss, Frederic Antonetti, had already conceded this month that the 21-year-old is likely to leave Rennes at the end of the season.
European giants Real Madrid and Inter are also believed to be interested and M’Vila told Canal+: “Inter, Arsenal, Real ... I will take the fun everywhere!
“These are great clubs.
“If the coach calls you and tells you he wants you to make you play, especially a French coach, it changes everything.”
M’Vila has been at Rennes for all of his senior career to date and is expected to be part of Laurent Blanc’s France squad for Euro 2012 this summer. The defensive midfielder was keen to emphasise that any move would have to have the best interests of his international career in mind.
“The important thing for me is getting playing time for the France team,” he stressed.
The 21-year-old was asked specifically about a suggestion that Madrid boss Jose Mourinho had personally sounded him out about a move, a rumour that he jovially denied.
“Mourinho calling me? he does not even have my number,” joked the France international.
“But play at Real? Yeah, it would be an absolute blast!
“It would be great to play with Kaka and [Karim] Benzema.”
M’Vila currently has three years left on his contract with the Ligue 1 club, for whom he has made 36 appearances so far this season.
