And Kozza
So far we have just managed to sell - or better to loan - Denilson. :-(
And Pat Rice
and Gunnersaures
10M for a proven PL player... wouldn't be too bad a buy as he'd give us some pace and can play in defense.Quote:
12.19: Charles N’Zogbia is reportedly ready to go on strike to seal his move to Villa, but Wigan chairman Dave Whelan is standing firm on his £10 million valuation. “Aston Villa are still offering £9 million and I want £10 million,” he told Goal.com. “They offered nine, and I said 'No thanks, you will have to make it 10 and then you can talk to him'. Other clubs are interested so there is no way I will be going down to £9 million.”
Also Werden have just signed a Greek defender on loan, rumours in Germany are that they'll allow Mertesacker to leave for 6M euros.
Yeah, 10m is a decent price for him, I guess none of the bigger teams are willing to take a punt on a guy with motivational issues, he could be a very good buy though.
Other clubs must think we're right cunts to do business with.
10m was probably laughed out of the place.
Jag isn't all that but surely we must understand he's worth a lot more to Everton.
The BBC have been responsible for as much bullshit as The Sun/Star/Mail/etc. this summer silly season.
That McNumpty bloke who appears to be the source for most of the crap, is a mong (his blogs are further proof of this), and led the 100% false stories about a £20m bid for Nasri from United and the Sneijder to United hullabaloo.
Because a transfer story emanates from the BBC, people assume it to be accurate, but they are now as creditable as any cheap tabloid paper or website.
I see Wenger has finally seen the light finally. It's gonna be a summer of change for sure!
I heard we might do 6 yard triangular passing rather than 5 yard triangular passing next season......can barely hold back my excitement!
and that could only be started after Denilson was finally bumped out........his passes would never make it 6 yards and definitely the idea of a triangle pass was beyond him.......hope Sao Paulo dont do a River Plate otherwise we will be back to 5 yards passes before we know it

Spanish and European champions Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign Alexis Sanchez from Udinese, subject to the winger passing a medical on Monday.
Barcelona had been chasing Sanchez all summer and following a meeting of officials from both clubs, plus the player's agent Fernando Felicevich, in Spain on Wednesday they finally got their man.
The Chile international will sign a five-year contract, with Udinese receiving a fee of €26 million upfront and a further €11m in performance related and add-ons.
Sanchez signed for Serie A side Udinese in 2006 from Chilean outfit Cobreloa, but was then loaned out to Colo Colo and River Plate before being recalled in the summer of 2008.
The 22-year-old went on to play over 100 games for Udinese and last season he scored 12 goals in 27 appearances to help the Italian club qualify for the Champions League.
Barca's number one target acquired.
Expect something similar for when they get Cesc.
It'll be something like £5m up front and more depending on other shit and we'll accept it cos Wengers a fool
Pedro should stfuJagielka and Oxface aren't what we needAnother example of why Cesc is a cuntQuote:

Arsenal will improve their £10million bid for the player - a £5m down payment with the rest in add-ons - by next week.
I'm sure the fact he's shit tops everything you just said. Also being able to play in midfield could be seen as a negative as Wenger will no doubt play him there and keep the flop Kozza in the team. We're fucked
Fair enough, I think you're in a pretty tiny minority there though, even if he were average he'd be worth buying.
Distin carried evertons defence last season tbh. :coffee:
Jags was crocked for quite of bit of last season, apparently he was pretty decent when he recovered from Injury & returned to the team.
I've done a bit of digging on Everton forums and the general feeling is that Distin was great 1st half of last season but pretty average 2nd half, apparently Jags was covering up all his mistakes.
I quite like Jags as a player, I'd quite like him here, though Cahill remains my first choice.
I don't think either of them will come, I think they are too pricey for Arsene...I mean Arsenal.
Oxfam kid coming would mean he would become our newest project on the wing and Walcott moving to the centre. . . .perhaps! ?
Yay
Eboue ain't on the flight to Cologne. On Twitter, NorthBankLower says a move to Galatasary is likely, while DarrenArsenal1 says Roma are also interested. So soon after Letters' thread, this happens.
Eboue :(
Roma (and Juventus) have apparently been after all our full-backs for the last seven season though.
I hope we get Trabelsi to replace him tbh.
Will be good to see that clown leave the club.
With him and Denilson fucking off we're slowly getting a bit of class back.
Signing Jenkinson has killed Eboue.

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas does not think he needs to sign a new striker, despite reports he has bid for Romelu Lukaku.
Sky sources understand last season's Premier League runners-up have made an offer for the £20million-rated Anderlecht 18-year-old, who scored 16 league goals last season.
Lukaku has been described as the new Didier Drogba,http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif and Villas-Boas has admitted his admiration of the teenage sensation.
But the Chelseahttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif boss also has the options of Drogba, Fernando Torres,http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif Nicolas Anelka,http://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif Salomon Kalouhttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif and Daniel Sturridgehttp://static.lingospot.com/spot/image/spacer.gif to mean he may not necessarily make a move.
Availability
"Lukaku had a magnificent season in Belgium," said Villas-Boas.
"We are pondering every decision because we don't want to go into the market and make mistakes.
"We have plenty of availability in terms of forwards who can play in different positions - with Anelka, with Kalou, Didier, Torres and Sturridge.
"This is the reality at the moment of our squad. We need to find the correct balance and this is why pre-season is important.
"On that decision, to bring in another forward, at the moment I don't think we will."
Bit silly to bid for him if you don't wan't him
please Mr VD can we have a go, if you dont want to?
take him in a 'flash the cash'
What will probably happen is we'll agree a fee get into advanced talks then Chelski will do the same thing as they did with Wright-Phillips <_<
