The old fool has fucked us every which way. If we keep the money it loses it's value at increasing pace as the gypos and PSG hyper-inflate the market, if we allow him to spend it he either wastes it on dross or buys decent players and then won't play them, or plays them out of position and in a crappy system that degrades the performance of all players who have to suffer it.

In terms of fucking up, Wenger has every base covered.

I like the Barca and Chelsea model where they have a set up in place and infrastructure in place for a head coach to come in and act as a coordinator. Barca and Chelsea bring in a guy and if he doesn't work then the next guy comes in as a head coach under their existing infrastructure with little fuss. It seems to be a recipe for success as it doesn't destabilise clubs.

That's the model football is heading towards. Moving away from one guy having all the power to having a team of specialists around the head coach.

Our model is so old fashioned but Gazidis has at least made moves to change that. I see our future as the one mentioned above.
