We need someone better tbh. He's the type of player that would be good as a squadie, but not the first team. I'm still kind of pissed off at how he walked out on us in the way he did so fuck him, you missed your chance at Arsenal.

Why did we let him go in the first place? How much was he demanding when he left us? It's pure stupidity. Didn't Song want £75k before he left? Madness and no forward thinking from this regime.
But it is what it is. We need a DM and he'd be better than anything else we have....I hope.
In terms of squad depth, its a good signing, but he's nearly 30 now, and has probably lost most of his pace. We'll see how he does I guess.
A player like Gustavo is the sort of CDM we need though.
