Alexis, Ox and Welbeck must not play. It's about time we used Merts as the lone striker and then sub him for Bilbo Baggins in the 92nd minute. Also we need to drive green cars all over the pitch and set up an Indian Reservation (with casino) in the opponent's third. Unconventional, perhaps. But after 400 wins you can't knock the guy.

Tough game now that Saints are decent again. A draw wouldnt be the worst possible result but a win would be HUGE as it would take us above them and a step closer to 4th place trophy.

Alexis is obviously the key man and the one who has played most games so I'd be inclined to rest him for the Cup game. If Podolski's having a mare, take him off on 60 minutes or so....and put Alexis on. Cazorla has been back to his best lately even if his shooting is still a little off and it's about bloody time Walcott played.....!?
