The Olympic Games is just great. All the nations competing together, even enemy states marching together. If the problems can be set aside for sport then it proves either how fucking useless our politicians are or how they are the cause of the divisions in the first place. Or, correctly, both.
What are the globalists going to do for an Olympics? District 1, District 2, etc?
I'm watching curling mixed doubles

Missed the Snowboarding. Fuck sake.
Luge. :haha:
Fucking nutters.
When’s the figure skating?
Fucking kids watching Thomas The Tank Engine....need more TVs :(
iPlayer online.
Watching the Luge. Felix Loch.
Loch does well on his first run.
Roman is up, 20 years old.
Doesn't value his life clearly.
Speed Skating seems a lot slower than I remember.
Tucker West?
And he hit the wall. :haha:
America. :haha:
Trump. :haha:
I guess BBC are focusing on Elise Christie now in the speed skating.
Wow, the snowboarder dudes. Anti gravity.
Hungarian lady takes out the Brit. Horrendous tackle.
Thomson crashes out again.
Christie is up now.
Christie through and wins her heat.

And Gilmartin of GB is essentially disqualified for that.
Giant slalom has been postponed due to high winds. Should've kept going I reckon.
I like the speed skating, but it does often end up in a right mess at times. Great races can be spoiled by crashes. You have to have a certain mentality to compete without lanes and a free for all. Christie has her work cut out starting from 4th.
edit Well that was a disappointment, not sure the Candian should have been in the final, but, ah well.
Christie crashes out in the final.
Though claims she was pushed.
I hadn't realised Felix Loch fucked it up.
First medal in the men's tea tray slipping. Only a bronze, but it gets us on the medal table. Will there be any more?
Missed everything this week because of stupid old work. Think I'll do a delayed re-run from iPlayer next week.
I like to get into the event and understand a bit about it. You can't get that from the summary show. They are a bit like the tourist version, whereas I like the fill native version and all the trimmings that would never make it to the highlights. I was quite getting into curling when the games opened. I mean as a one-off. I won't be hitting the curling circuit, but it was interesting to watch how bizarre and committed the competitors are.
One of the pundits in the studio was trying to big curling up saying how fit they had to be to be brushing frantically one minute then slowing their breathing down the next. A bit like snooker and darts then.
Take your point about the highlights, I think they do go into it into more depth than showing just the winners, but not all of the competitors.
Oh dear, what is wrong with our Brits, they just can't stay on their skates. Christie penalised and doesn't qualify for the final, crashed out in the process. On top of that, she may have a bad injury. Gilmartin fell in the semi before her. So to the tea tray sliding, two Brits up for medals, but will they deliver?
I'm quite ill at the moment but are people hurling themselves down a chute head first?
Yarnold up next, second currently.
Brits in second and fourth in the tea tray. Come on, let's get a least one medal, preferably two, no stuff ups.
Seven skaters on the ice racing at the same time, what could possibly go wrong?
We're against Korea in the Curling.
I can't imagine any other time it would be acceptable these days to give a woman a brush and televise it.
Christie should have done what the Korean skater did and just go wider around the outside, she had the pace. That said, I think she left it too late.
Christie is looking to race again on Tuesday? I'm sure she'll crash again.
Five Olympic races, four crashed out and one penalised.
They are complete nutters these Winter Olympians, The event this morning entailed skiers going over jumps backwards and skiing backwards for a time. You've got to love the drama and danger of it all. I loved watchng the snowboarders racing, complete madness.
Curling is the only sedate one, everything else seems like organised forfeits.
