LA Noire is it any good ????
ive hear only fantastic stuff about it, it'll probably be game of the year.
Its alright, Im playing it at the moment.
The 40's atmosphere is very well done but the actual 'game' itself is missing. Basically its very repetative, get to crime scene, press 'A' alot to find clues/evidence, question witness then hope you select the right options from truth, lie, doubt and onto the next one. The facial animation is very good, but thats about it.
Very over-rated imo.
I'm not sure it is any more repetitive than any other game is. I think it is very good personally, there is enough to keep it interesting though I am well in to the game.
I've been fudged over by Game or the Royal Mail.... Pre-ordered last week, dispatched on the 18th (to be received surely on the day of release!?).....still waiting for it.
To take my anger away im playing Bully again. Youve gotta love Rockstar games :)
Mortal Kombat 9, game of the year by far.
Anyone know how many seasons there are in league mode in Pro 11?

Domains and online reports suggest the Next Generation Portable – Sony's PlayStation Portable successor – is called the PlayStation Vita.
Vita is Latin and Italian for "life".
GamesPundit brings word from a source that NGP's formal name is PS Vita, and provides an image containing the logo.
Adding authenticity to the Vita name is mention of it on a Sony developer subdomain called Vita.SCEdev.net, noticed by Joystiq.

Sony is expected to announce pricing, availability and the final name of the NGP during its press conference at E3 next week.
VITA
Sony have been reading GW.
That thing looks awesome, too.

after you sir:tiphat:
E3 on Monday eh?
VITA™ stands for Violence Is The Answer. A clique set up by Syn for all those who believed that violence was the answer if we wanted to win the League in the face of the scummery of Stoke/Blackkburn etc. Sadly, only Sir Jack really stepped up in an attempt to fulfil this dream. The rest of the team pussied out.
But VITA™ goes on. I'd set up a clique page, but it's Syn's baby and more importantly, I can't be bothered.
Xbox's is on at 5:30 our time I think which is a bit annoying, well for me anyway. http://www.bbc.co.uk/dnaimages/board...cons/f_grr.gif
I guess it could be delayed like last year.
Nintendo's is the only one that matters tbh.
Microsoft seems to be just adding Kinect to every big-name game in an attempt to make it attractive to "hardcore" gamers.
Maybe Valve will WUM everyone by actually making a shock appearance and announcing Half Life 3.
Which won't be out until 2019 of course.
Forza 4 is the only one I can think of. Although interestingly L.A Noire does mention Kinect on the beginning screen, not sure if the PS version does the same for Move but it doesn't yet have support.
I'll take interest for the Nintendo one because I have Nintendo stuff and I'll take interest for the Microsoft one because I have Microsoft stuff.
There have been leaks of boxarts ranging from the next Ghost Recon to Mass Effect 3, which all show Kinect compatibilty. I think a Gears Of War Kinect game is pretty much confirmed too. They're trying to shoe-horn it into everything. It is Microsoft's MO of course.
It's a shame most things get leaked or are shown to the press weeks in advance these days. Only a few companies have surprises these days.
But still, E3 .
I guess from the Microsoft's standpoint, they have to do something with Kinect, for those who have it! I'm not even sure Microsoft have realised what an advanced piece of tech they actually created. I'm guessing the Mass Effect one would only be as an optional extra. I don't play Ghost Recon so they can do what they like to that.
They will be showing off the Star wars Kinect game too. Should be interesting.
I had a kinect for xmas but I dont have a mansion sized living room so it didnt work properly, kept jumping into the sofa!
The voice controls were fantastic though. They have announced head tracking for use with forza 4, looks really good.
Are they going to officially announce the successor to the Wii?
I strongly suspect so.
Sounds like it's no half-arsed effort this time.
Proper hardware, more powerful that the PS3, apparently.

Halo 4 and Halo 1 remake confirmed.
FIFA 2012 to be Kinect compatible.
Hmm
YouTube, Bing and live TV coming to xbox.
Minecraft on Kinect!!!
Awesome!
And a Star Wars Kinect game...
which looks pretty bad
Apparently Nintendo's controller for the console is going to be a portable gaming device in itself, with a small HD screen.
