Good win, lads did us proud tbh could not ask for more then that tbh.
Proud of everyone in the red and white.
Unlucky not to go through.
fucking shocking.
van persie you fucking twat. arrogance getting to you now eh? scored shitloads and decide TO CHIP THE FUCKING KEEPER FROM 1 YARD OUT?! fucking tosser.
wenger can fuck off too. its times like this our continual underinvestment in the squad shows up. WHO THE FUCK DID WE HAVE ON OUR BENCH? CHAMAKH? PARK? FUCKING USELESS.
shocking that we couldnt score in the 2nd half against a shite milan team.
wenger, do the honourable thing, and fuck off.
Respectable. At least we went for it and we didn't even concede. Tantalisingly close.
Dont know what to say really.
Todd Grisham @GrishamESPN
Great game..brave effort. Arsenal nearly pulled off the impossible. Oh well...if you missed it we'll have highlights @ESPNEWS tonight at 11
!
Fucking Raping shit Fuck **** b0llockz SOOOO CLOSE FUCK ALL THE DISBELIEVERS
amazing first half performance, shocking second half performance.
we are the perennial nearly men, so frustrating we can't kill teams off.
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiighhhhh
think we would've done it if oxo cube didn't get injured. where was benayoun btw? injured?
Terrible miss from RVP. Sell him tbh.
First half brilliant. Second half was affected by injuries and tiredness. And of course the second most corrupt ref in Europe.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Sagna all brilliant.
Time to batter Newcastle. If we have eleven players fit.
Yep. Well done all.
I think Van Persie's miss definitely hit him hard. Very subdued after that. Hope he doesn't dwell on it from here.
Song, Walcott etc made mistakes going forward in the second half with the passing, but that panicking is not surprising when the goal is really needed. The freedom in the first half was because we needed four.
Gallant losers.
It'll endear us to the media because that's what Britain does best.
Taken on individual and collective merits, you edged it over both legs (Milan by far the better side first leg, but you a couple of universes superior this time out). Came down to a lack of steady finishing in the end.
We have two of the best young footballers in the world in Whilshire and someone who may be even better in Oxo.
RVP im gutted for you......but what a miss son.
Rosicky has been the players we all thought we were getting.
Kos is one of the best defenders in the Prem.
Gibbs is awful, as is our bench...truly shocking options.
Proud of being a gooners but gutted as fuck.
1st half
Brilliant. Absolutle class, bossed them and fully deserved our lead.
2nd half
We didn't create much and never really played at the same intensity as we did in the first half. But saying that, RVP had an amazing chance, can't believe he didn't smash it. Can't fault the effort, we just ran out of steam in the end, Oxlade picking up a knock was the turning point, and then Theo going off pretty much ended our chances of stretching them IMO.
Great effort, pride well and truly restored. :scarf:
Think it be easier to take if we won the game 2-0 but hey thats the Pussy's way of thinking.
players should take heart from this onto the Newcastle game we go.
Very proud of the boys tonight!!!
First half was a brilliant performance. Sadly with Chamberlain getting injured we lost our control of the game. Still Well done.
Terrible Ref.
3rd place?
shit
(I discovered the size button, it rules)
Purely a side note, but Ibrahimovic gave one of the worst performances I've ever seen.
WTF was RVP doing with the fucking chip? What a twat, you showboat when you're 5-0 up FFS
where the fuck was the urgency in the 2nd half? why the fuck did we sit back? WE HAD THEM ON THE BACK FOOT FFS.
man utd would have murdered that team. they would have scored 8 past them.
but then again fergie's a world class manager and wengers fucking shit.
why the fuck are our players made of feathers? ox kicked the AIR and done his hamstring in??!! fuckin useless. if they get injured all the time whats the point in having them.
Great effort but so typical of us under Wenger. All he seems capable of is keeping us in aholding pattern. Our collapses are predictable and reliable. Sure we can keep him, but we sure as hell wont make any progress under him anymore. Whats left for us now. Spud hunting!!!
You can't fault the lads for trying and that first half was the best I've seen us play this season by quite a distance.
Shame we couldn't finish them off but we ran out of steam in the end IMHO.
Hope Ox & Theo are OK, we need them for the run in.
Injuries and the team froze up once the pressure was on. Story of our season. But some good individual performances and a brave team effort. Our team is down to the bare bones now. Chamakh and Park were never going to do shit.
Can't believe people are raging after a 3-0 win against the Italian champions
Calm down, we played well and were unlucky not to qualify.
'judge me at the end of the season'
no silverware. shit season. turned into an embarressment.
hope wenger goes.
It was also a shame Song had to start smoking his weed again.
He was wank.
Wiped the floor with those greasy cheats. Great performance, understandably ran out of steam. A couple of misses cost us but how bad are Milan in front of goal, lol? We probably would have shipped a couple against a half decent team. Game changed when Ox was injured. Hope the damage isn't too bad. Ref was the most blatant cheat since the chavs/ bar****s game. Scandalous but that's what you get with uefa. Might be the best thing going out of this having finally played well, we can concentrate on chasing down and burying the scum.
only good thing that has come from this is we are out of all competitions.
now wenger can FUCK OFF.
Our lack of quality in the squad was shown up over the two legs. We had a few injuries in the first leg, and produced an abomination of a performance. And tonight, after expending so much energy in the first 60 minutes, it would have been ideal to bring on some top quality players from the bench so that we could regain our momentum. Instead, the game fizzled out. This is a mediocre Milan team, and the reality is that we've lost 4-3 on aggregate, which is pathetic.
Lost 4-3 on aggregate for the second season in a row.
:(
Disappointed with Wenger's subs to be honest. On the face of it yes, they are strikers. But they really aren't strikers.
Wanted Oguyogurt on. It might have helped us in midfield where we got gradually worse in the second half. He is a neat player. I'm pretty sure he was set to come on at one point. Sticking a lamppost next to RVP was not going to work.
Oh well.
Classic WUMger, getting our hopes up like that.
