Must win.
Dunno with this one, City aint be at their best lately, i can see us deffo getting something out of this.
Chelsea follows this one as well.
4 points will be a good return hopefully.
4 points would be an amazing return. These guys are supposed to be the title-winners; the ones who are supposed to be a helluva lot better than we are.
A draw would be a fantastic return for us. And a draw in the Chelsea game would be pretty good too. Anything above 2 points from the next two is good, in my book.
Getting slaughtered in this but not thinking of this atm
Enjoying the 6-1 win today and then comes Monty
we have started the season brilliantly, we look good. we have to go there and take the ****s on.
2-1 to us. Podolski and cazorla
Fulahm .
we will win this one . The current Arsenal squad is not full of negative and fearful people like most fans . We need to realize the team have turned the corner and we are left behind . Come on Arsenal .Beat the fuckers 2-1.
8am megabus from london victoria
this'll be the last time i let others sort travel
think we'll sneak a win here. city aren't playing well.
1-2
I think we'll put in a performance
Wont win though
Much like last season
I'd gladly take a point
Would mean we would need to beat Chelsea the week after.
Would we take 2 draws in the next 2 games? Or a loss and a win which would give us more points?
We will draw this game 1-1.
0-0 draw or an away win written all over this. :coffee:
we have played three of the same teams as city have this season. both have played liverpool and stoke away, and southampton at home.
city have scored 6 and conceded 5, we have scored 8 and conceded 1.
in each of those three games we have been by far the better side against the opposing team, they have struggled. basically what i am saying is lets take these ****s on and fucking hammer them
Shut up!
No, sorry, that's mean. I'll take the most boring 0-0 draw there has ever been.
Ollie :rose:
Same team (apart from Szczesny) that played against Southampton.
They'll have a week off afterwards.
Good Diaby please.
Good or bad Diaby turning up will probably be the difference between a win and a loss.
A draw I reckon.
However my head says 0-3.
I like Maccy's head.
im convinced we're going to beat them on sunday
everything's going our way and little is going theirs
im completely convinced
my cave doesn't have Sky so I might not be able to watch :(
Mert was excellent :rolleyes:Quote:
Man City v Arsenal (16:00 BST)
After their 3-2 Champions League defeat by Real Madrid, Manchester City have conceded 11 goals in six matches this season, which I put down to some of Roberto Mancini's selections rather than the systems he has employed.
I cannot believe that Mancini did not identify that both Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo were running riot against Maicon, who looked seriously short at right-back.
That was the cause of most of City's problems against Madrid because half the time Vincent Kompany was playing centre-back and half the time he was playing emergency right-back. Tactically Mancini got that completely wrong and did not do enough to address it.
I don't understand why he gave a debut to Matija Nastasic in defence at the Bernabeu instead of picking Joleon Lescott. Nastasic looks decent but it still felt odd.
And Mancini also worried me the other week when he went to Liverpool and played a 3-5-2. Kolo Toure was on the right of the back three and was up against Raheem Sterling, when Pablo Zabaleta was perfect for that role.
Still, playing Arsenal should concentrate Mancini's mind. He has had a few days to lick his wounds, and I cannot see him messing around this time - he will play his strongest team.
The Gunners have had a great start to the season and will be full of confidence although I have to say that on Tuesday against Montpellier, Per Mertesacker got away with a couple of things in that game which I think the likes of Carlos Tevez will punish him for. That is why I fancy City to edge this game.
Prediction: 2-1
Although agree with the prediction
The games against Citeh last year were close and we have nothing to fear, the prediction has Tevez causing Merts problems but we have players to give Citeh just as much of a headache.
Gameplan should be get into Marios head, he sees red, Arteta steps up with a wondergoal!
Girourd to break his duck
Hope he plays Maicon and Gervais shreds him.
Starting to think Kos should play in this one. We need mobility at the back. Nothing against the BFG, just not his type of game for me.
Narrow defeat from which we emerge with a lot of credit IMO.
