Bad performance, Decent scoreline. Have to do better onto the next one.
Unlucky.
When you look at their goals, the first from a silly mistake and the 2nd from a corner that should never have been given.
A draw would have been fair. Still, on we go.
Giroud may be slowly developing into Chamakh v.2.0.
A -1 is the best we can expect from Old Trafford. On we go.
Pathetic error and we concede.
We start playing well, they score again.
So predictable, in fact I'm gutted I didn't put money on it.
Not bothered in the slightest, on we go.
We were terrible
Mancs not much better yet they played us off the park
Still, 2-1 is better than 8-2
Progress
If/when Tottenham beat Wigan, they'll go 5 points clear of us. Just saying.
I hate this fixture. Players haven't actually turned up for it for about five years. So fucking lame.
Utd beat us without having to show up. Should have been a right hiding but we fluked a respectable shoreline. Wenger sees things nobody else sees, in a bad way I mean, in a way that normally gets people sectioned under the mental health act.
9 yellow cards (+ a red) and a last minute goal. Anyone would think this was actually interesting.
at least last year we could blame the loss on injuries. that was basically close to our strongest team.
how many fucking defensive mistakes are we doing to make? its EVERY FUCKING WEEK. to top it off, santos the fat c*nt grabs van persie's shirt at half time. WTF? what a disgrace. thats me done with santos, couldnt give a flying fuck if you choose to be a lazy prick but do not embarrass the fans and make us a laughing stock in front of millions of people. you dont care about the club because you come from some shithole in brazil- fine, but at least pretend you care for 90 mins when the cameras are switched on. i will never ever support santos in an arsenal shirt again. we're done and i will gladly boo him next time im at an away game.
last year we had a world class striker who could change the game. we had song, one of the most creative midfielders in the league, playing behind him. both gone and not replaced properly. not only did we sell RVP but we pocketed the money and strengthened one of our rivals.
this is the year we drop out of the top 4. we are absolutely average and have no attacking threat. we are so narrow and have no width, our full backs dont even bother overlapping. we slow the tempo right down when we're on the attack which gives the opposition a chance to get 10 men behind the ball. then we wonder why we cant open teams up.
podolski was woeful. ramsey uninspiring. why do we start with a 6ft+ striker when we dont plan on giving him any service? we play with ramsey instead of a proper winger, giroud gets no service FFS. no crosses, no balls in behind. nothing
rivals strengthen year on year and last year we scraped champions league football through pure luck. you would have thought that c*nt in charge would have had good reason to strengthen the team over the summer but we didnt. we are gonna pay for it this year, believe me.
Predictable. Van Persie scored, ManYoo won. We were 2nd best, we're just not at their level any more.
Our away support is absolutely outstanding.
fuck everything.
Arsenal at home is always one of United's home bankers.
I guess it doesn't help when your manager thinks a languid midfielder with an eye for a pass is better served out on the wing.
I was hoping that we wouldnt lose..
We actually looked a lot more balanced when the subs were made. Who would have thought that playing wingers on the wing would make such a difference??
Wenger's team selection is just plain wrong. Podolski should either start upfront all hold the bench as he is garbage on the left (Santos could be a factor). Ramsey again starting wide right is laughable.
CL football next season is going to be a stretch.
The only positive is that the balance was better towards the end, but there are fundamental problems with this squad. Arteta is decent, but I just don't think he's dynamic enough to have that role, but thats whole another thread.
Anyway next up Fulham
Nothing to react to really, we were shit as scripted.
Awful team selection but anything else and Wenger appear to be thinking - something he can ill-afford if he has any plans of staying on as manager under Kroenke, PHW, Mobster and rest of cohorts.
Its disgusting how GP Opinions are treated on here.
Very important goal by Cazorla at the end. Wenger can work with this scoreline for the post-match interview. Not scoring would've been a bit more difficult to sell.
Load of shit.
a draw a fair result?
they were all over us in the first half, we didn't manage a shot on goal til the 80th+ minute.
completely overpowered. it was men against boys.
Deservedly beaten by a superior team, with that said....
Not much in it. Just one mistake separating the sides.
Yeah I have no idea how anyone can say we deserved a draw :haha: Unfortunately, I can see Wenger complaining that Cleverely should have been sent off, that the 2nd goal came from a corner that shouldn't have happened, Wilshere was unlucky to go etc and completely ignoring how Man Utd were able to cruise through in 2nd gear. Some supporters seem to be of this mindset as well.
Podolski has been terrible over the past month.
Actually, terrible might be harsh because that implies he's done things that haven't come off. He's barely been involved at all.
