Robson went out to Sloane Stephens in the first round of the Hobart International. Stephens should have an excellent 2013.
Watson was injured.
Both Watson (47) and Robbo (50) are ranked in the top 50 now though.
-
Ferrer beat Monfils 6-1 6-2 to reach the final in Auckland.
He'll play Kohlschreiber for the title, who beat Querrey 6-4 7-6 (7-2).
Anderson will play Tomic in the Sydney final. Tomic's first ATP final. He's had a good start to the year.
Berdych lost to Batistuta-Agut last week in Chennai and was beaten by Hewitt in the Kooyong exhibition tournament a few days ago. He loves a slump.
-
Impressive start to the year for A. Radwanska too. She beat Li Na 6-3 6-4 to reach her second final in a row in Sydney.
She plays Cibulkova in the final, who beat Kerber 6-2 4-6 6-3.

Radwanska beat Cibulkova 6-0 6-0 to win the Sydney title!
Cibulkova :haha:.
Radwanska could be little bit threat at the Australian Open.
-
Ferrer beat Kohlschreiber 7-6 (7-5) 6-1 to win a record-equalling fourth title in Auckland. Ferrer .
Tomic won the first ATP title of his career in Sydney by beating Anderson 6-3 6-7 (2-7) 6-3. He seems to be back on track after an awlful 2012.
-
Davis Cup:
6-4 5-7 6-4 6-7 (3-7) 24-22.
Tomas Berdych and Lukas Rosol took seven hours and two minutes to see off Swiss pair Stanislas Wawrinka and Marco Chiudinelli in a doubles rubber.
:haha:
-
Nadal on the verge of winning his 89756547880th clay court title in his first tournament since Wimbledon, despite not being 100% fit.
He plays Zeballos in the Chile Open final.
-
He could reach the fourth round at Roland Garros with no arms and legs. And blindfolded.
Feeling nostalgic and little bit worried Fed's time is coming to an end so I've been watching all of the big matches from his Slam winning tournaments (well I couldn't find the semi-final against Grosjean at Wimbledon 2004). Up to the US Open 2004 QF against Agassi currently.
-
-
Zeballos beats Nadal 6-7 (2-7) 7-6 (8-6) 6-4! :faint:
Nadal's clay court dominance :rose:.
-
He'll do better on the blue clay
-
It was quite a good final. I'm sure the players were much further behind the baseline than they usually are on clay. Could've returned it from the stands.
Rotterdam 500 starts this week, I think Sky start showing it from Thursday.
Federer, Del Potro, Tsonga, Gasquet, Simon, Youzhny, Janowicz and Seppi are all involved.
Simon is up 5-3 on Brands currently.
-
Baghdatis has just taken the first set against Gasquet 6-4.
Gulbis vs Del Potro on after this. Fed is against De Bakker at about half 6 I think.
-
And Baghdatis wins 6-4 6-4.
Gasquet.
-
Del Potro takes the first set 7-6 (7-5) against Gulbis.
-
And Del Potro wins 7-6 (7-5) 6-3.
-
-
Fed takes the first set 6-3.
-
Fed breaks and leads 1-0 in the second set.
-
De Bakker is serving to stay in the match.
-
Fed wins 6-3 6-4.
Fed vs Benneteau tomorrow.
-
Dimitrov just beat Baghdatis in little bit epic.
6-7 (6-4) 7-6 (7-0) 6-3.
One handed backhands.
-
Del Potro beats Nieminen 6-3 6-4.
-
Federer vs Benneteau is on now.
-
Hotdog already from Fed. :haha:
Skewed it wide though.
-
Benneteau breaks and leads 1-0.
-
-
And a double fault gives it up. 2-2.
-
Benneteau breaks again though and leads 4-3 in the first set.
-
Benneteau takes the first set 6-3. An absolute shocker from Federer.
-
Benneteau breaks and leads 3-1 in the second set.
Fed. :rose:
-
Three break points for Fed!
-
Fed breaks to love! 3-4 Fed still trails.
-
-
Federer remembers he is a good player, finally. 4-4.
-
Federer is serving to stay in the match.
-
Just like at Wimbledon, Benneteau was two points away from winning.
Fed somehow pulls it out the bag again despite looking like a complete pub teamer at times today. 5-5.
