Blitzed them.
I do love when we go mental in little bursts.
Much needed 3 points and performance.

that was gorgeous. stunning football.
I think it's far to say we'll play like that in every game now.
Clearly no signings are needed and everything is right at Arsenal once more.
Arsene
Good performance. Wilshere, Podolski, Giroud were sublime, Cazorla to a little lesser extent. Rest of our attacking players were decent.
Need to be able to step it up like that whenever needed, West Ham couldn't deal with us. Defense was surprisingly solid apart from their goal.
I hope this result doesn't see us back off in the transfer market because we still need one or two but everyone can be quite happy about today.
little bit shit match reaction
had a really good game, and no one wants to react
can´t believe just 2 comments after 5-1, I guess these 12mins of added time put everyone to bed
Not surprised . When we win everyone will come up with a good a nice comment . A good reaction is a realistic comment when we lose a game . Anyway , very good performance today .
Good performance in the 2nd half, everything clicked for once.
Still, I think we need at least 2 signings this transfer window. Against the likes of Everton, Liverpool, Stoke etc we won't be able to walk through their defences with the ease we did tonight, and we'll need some extra quality in our ranks to cope with all the fixtures coming in the UCL, FA Cup and the League.
Edging closer to top spot, title is on!
Didn't see it, no f*cker was showing in on TV.
Just score the 0-1 scoreline and then the 5-1 scoreline....seems like a pretty good win on the face of it.
we wanted three points, we got a heartening winter feast......only down point of the evening was Dan Potts....hopefully nothing serious
Highlights after the Chelsea coverage.
Sounds like we turned up to play ball. That gives us a bit of air. 3 points were vital today.
So Giroud, is he all that? yes probably.
I love it when happy Arsenal play, off to taunt some irons now, :patrice:
Best we've played in a long while. We controlled the midfiel.... Oh fuck the analysis, we were fucking awesome :scarf:
I'm obviously very happy with the win, but nothing wrong in pointing out that we've got a lot of tough fixtures coming up and this XI can't play every game, which is why we need good quality players who can come in and do a job for us. We've had other thumping wins this season against Southampton, Newcastle, Reading, and they were followed up by unconvincing performances against harder to break down teams. So we still need to find consistency and the ability to get results when the opposition is making it hard for us.
Was at skool, we concede first again? 1-1ht were we flaccid first half? Guess the Viagra kicked in second half?
The key to us winning like that is the effort levels. SIMPLE. How they are allowed to drop is down to Wenger...yet again a slow start and a brilliant 2nd half.
Let's hope we play for 90mins against liverpool.
Great attacking play 2nd half. Podolski outstanding.... along with Wilshere again.
Podolski .
Giroud . Those flicked balls over the top are officially better than Song's chips.
Wraithfear . Spanish legend in the making.
Gibbs . Our best player since his return from injury.
Ramsey . Was really good all game. Kept it simple, kept it moving, worked hard, defended well and impressed in an unusual role.
Even Sagan had a decent game today.
Walcott, Podolski, Crepezola were all guilty of missing good chances though. This was a perfect opportunity to bolster the goal difference.
Anyway, Arsenal .
It was very good almost throughout. I don't see that midfield composition working in the future but they did the job today. Quick passing tempo and controlled the game throughout. Nice to watch a performance like that.
Unusual position lol. Thats his position. For some reason wenger has always played him further upfield or out wide. In this deeper position he keeps this ticking over and unlike Arteta injects energy as well. But wenger keeps putting in wrong positions. Wilshere should be no.10 role like vs swansea, theo should b in strikers role and ramsey at cm/dm!
It could be a safe position for Ramzi, less chance of him breaking down attacks with his tank-like movement and instead distributing the ball more effectively.
Welsh Xavi.
All I know is that he (Ramsey) covered that area well today. He was even on the goal line saving our arse at one point, and did his fair bit to disrupt some West Ham attacks. Also, he bridged the gap well between defence and midfield going forward.
Arteta :rose:
But then again remember who is our ......
That was just beautiful to watch.. I forgot I was in 2012! For a moment, it was 2004 for me..
great header from giroud for their goal.
I don't think it is his position at all. He played well today but the common criticism is the time he takes on the ball which is magnified the closer he is to his own goal. Today he was efficient which was good, but he's an attacking midfielder. Today's domination was mostly because Wilshere and Cazorla had really good games ahead of him.
Thousands of empty seats apparently.
We're back!
:coffee:
Sounds like a good win though so good stuff
