That said, I could name a dozen areas or issues to address either more important or on a par with having better players.
I think this season was his last chance with this current squad.
He has to spend this summer, its his last chance with the club before all the fans turn on him imo.
Some judicious summer pruning to remove both some deadwood and some cankers. Then buy some players to fill in the key areas, starting with leadership.
Listening to Wenger after todays game it doesn't sound like anything will change. :(
