Nordtveit
Spain 1-0 Russia, FT. Morata with the goal.
England 0-1 Italy from last night.
Israel 2-2 Norway also from last night.
Netherlands vs Germany is on soon.
Not really surprising given he 1) played Shelvey at left wing for a while and 2) played Shelvey.
Pearce has already been moaning about not being allowed his best players.
England's team from last night: Butland, Clyne, Caulker, Dawson, Henderson, Robinson, Lowe, Shelvey, Redmond, Sordell, Wickham.
That team is horrific.
He didn't have to leave Zaha and McEachran on the bench though.
Netherlands: Zoet, Van Rhijn, De Vrij, Martins Indi, Blind, Strootman, Maher, Van Ginkel, Luuk de Jong, John, Wijnaldum.
Germany: Leno, Jantschke, Thesker, Ginter, Sorg, Rudy, Rode, Holtby, Herrmann, Mlapa, Lasogga
Holtby.
I recognise most if not all of the Netherlands, but only 2/3 of the German team
Brutal tackle by the ref on Herrmann. :haha:
Netherlands 1-0 Germany, Maher!
Netherlands 2-0 Germany, Wijnaldum! What a calamity. :haha:
2-1, Rudy pelanty.
2-2 Holtby.
Me.

Netherlands 3-2 Germany, Fer.
Is he right?Quote:
Stuart Pearce says England do not give themselves a chance of winning tournaments when key players cannot be selected. The England Under-21 coach is without a string of players - including Jack Wilshere, Phil Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - for the European Under-21 Championship in Israel. England lost their opening match of the tournament 1-0 against Italy on Wednesday.
"If you bring your best players you stand a chance of winning a tournament. If you don't bring your best players then you have to take your chance when you get there," Pearce said.
"I'll tell you now what you have to do to be successful at senior level. You have to qualify with the best team, you have to take your best team to the tournament and you have to give young players as much tournament experience as possible."
Spain beat Russia 1-0
England 1-3 Norway
England are out of the tournament.
:haha:
Pearce is a terrible coach.
The guy is only U21 coach because he cried when he missed a penalty and cried when he scored one. Showed passion you see.

"I would have taken Stan Collymore ahead of Bergkamp, even for £1m more. Liverpool have gotten a better deal than Arsenal."
Fuck me, Maccy's only gone and banned Stuart Pearce.
Christ I didn't read that far.

fucking england, what's the point at any level?
let's sack pearce, get in the new big hope for the next batch of 'superstars' who will progress onto exactly the same at senior level for our beloved media to tear to shreds.
pearce took previous teams to the semi's and the final, which is better than anyone for quite a while but unfortunately a group knock out will be the stick which everyone beats his ass with.
2nd time in a row they've exited at the group stage.
England will always be shite at this level because there is a stigma about using players who have also been involved with the senior team.
England lost again to the mighty Israel.
Still, they showed passion.
Spain beat Norway 3-0. Another final for them.
