you favourite Thierry Henry moment

lets lift the doom and gloom for one thread at least. Arsenal.com ran this hashtag on twitter and it reminded me on many great Henry memories.

so what is your favourite Henry memory?


for me, its last season at leeds. That moment was one of the best moments ive had watching football, ever. Here was Henry, coming home and scoring an henry goal to win the game. that was just magical. he scored so many great goals before, so many great moments but that for sheer emotion, sticks out for me. was just magical.

Celebrating in front of Spud fans was fun, but it would have to be that goal against Liverpool.

I'll probably change my mind many times though.

So many to choose from but the one game I just watched in awe was the 5-0 win over Leeds. We were closing in on the title and that performance made me realise I'll be lucky to watch a player (and team) like this again.

Remember when he went nuts at the ref against Newcastle?

Rounding the entire Spuds defence and slotting past whichever muppet they had in goal that day. Brings tears to my eyes how good we used to be. Used to look forward to every NLD, just to see how badly we'd spank them unlike now when we are just as liable to be the ones geting spanked

Wondergoal against Man U at Highbury.

His record equalling goal against Sparta Prague. Marked out a little bit.

Also, the goal against Blackeye in 2007 wasn't far off that.

have to say, i always felt it was a shame he scored the record breaking goal at Prague, bit distant, not many fans out there etc. It should have been at highbury at his home. i wish it was. but waht a finish it was in prague. control with the backheel, one bounce, back of the net

Yep, the Leeds goal was a hugely enjoyable flashback to when we weren't boring shitarses.
