What a win.
Ramsey had a very good game. As did Theo, as did Kos and BFG.
Had to defend for long periods but did it well.

It's coming home.
Ramsey is a very good player. He just gets better and better.
Kos is a monster.
great win. this squad is a very very good squad. it just needs that extra quality, suarez, gustavo and a CAM, and we can do something special.
We don't need gustavo, we have Perez....
Where was sanogo?
how did perez play and how did legless play?
Ramsey .
Koscielny  (apart from their consolation goal).
Feo . As frustrating as he is, his output is really impressive. Another goal and two assists.
Giroud . Looks sharper and more confident.
Perez . Looks like a dirty bastard. Sign him up, Wenfer.
Walcott was brilliant, a goal and two assists (he could have had another but for a marginal offside call). If he keeps this up he should have 15+ assists next season. I think he's also shown he does have a football brain and his only asset is not just pace. A player without ability wouldn't be able to lob Hart the way he did, or make the two passes leading to goals 2 and 3.
Hymppi's wife will be getting good luvin' tonight.
Great performance. Particularly impressed with Ramsey, Giroud and Theo.
Only worrying thing was that they were able to get at our defence and test our GK far too easily imo. We won't always be able to rely on Kos and Szechny to save us which is why a DM is most imperative right now ... that and Bould needs to keep working with them. Then again this was Man City so perhaps I'm being a bit too harsh here.
We're pretty shit in reality but it just could be we're not as shit as most of the other teams in this league. Really low standard of football. But if this is a hint we are abandoning the hateful tippy tappy and instead going for the hoof over the top to our pace players then that might be the biggest step forward we've taken in years.
Ramsey is starting to look like the kid we initially signed. Could be it's just taken him a long long time to get over that injury. Ox looked a bit better today and even Theo hit a couple of decent crosses. Giroud took his goal well but he's still a mule rather than the thoroughbred striker we'll need to really challenge. Kos good apart from their goal when he was pretty easily overpowered by city's version of Nick Bendtner.
Navas putting in an early claim to be the hate figure of the year, bookies surely lowering odds on that.
Didn't catch the game, but where did Ramsey play ? CDM infront of the back 4 ?
Forgot this was on.
Good result.
Sign some fucking players now plz.
Way too soon to tell on the strength of a few minutes. He was solid, tall, puts in a strong tackle (including illegal ones) and looks to pass the ball forward which is always useful. But this was a friendly, he's trying to impress, no conclusions can be drawn yet.
Slaughtered what many see as the second strongest team in the league.
It's happening lads.
Is Perez even our player? A certain Yaya Toure played a pre-season friendly for us and... well look how that turned out.
I think our squad is ok as it stands. Capable of finishing between 4th and 6th. To get anything more than that we need some world class players.
People jumping to rather a lot of conclusions based on a friendly aren't they, I doubt this will be the result in the game that means something.
We need quality players badly (3-4 of them) a friendly doesn't convince me otherwise, though it may convince Wenger sadly.
Did I?
I believe I said Drogba did it again against us.
Friendlies don't mean much though, teams don't play 100% in them, the fact you think this squad is very very good is worrying though.
I couldn't care less about some friendlies, hence why I didn't get too excited when we won the Emirates cup a few years back, as you saw we've won nothing since then.
We need 3-4 quality players or we'll be nowhere next season as usual.
Ramsey was superb at end of last season, and pre season he has been great too. i think this guy is going to grow and grow. he'll be in the PFA team of the year at the end of the season.
It's not a good squad, it has the makings of a good squad if 3-4 players of Cazorla's quality or better are added. then we can challenge. Otherwise we're looking at a 4th place squad in a fairly weak league. If we don't add those 3-4 players this year, when everything is up in the air, it's unforgivable.
GayPete is gay and Ramsey is his gay boyfriend.
No you said this is a very very good squad, not just a good squad.
The difference is I think this squad is fairly average as it stands, 3-4 quality players will raise the level significantly.
You're saying we're very very good and that 3-4 more players and we'll do something special, 3-4 players and we'll compete, not sure we'll do something special (like a double) though.
