is parker available for them?
should have got him tbh. need an enforcer.
1-1 without parker
3-1 with
He should be.
Quality player couple of years back and should have got him from west ham. Not as good now though
we've let about 150243 players go, shrewd experienced players like him would have been good.
put him on 40k-50k and tell him to fight for his place. we put denilson on 60k so not a problem tbh.
id have taken him for a season or two. would give our pussies a kick up the back side.
better than Arteta I guess so yeah for the short term he'd have been decent and would have helped the likes of Jack and Ramsey.
Our loss is Fulhams gain. Slightly embarrassing they have a better strike force than ours. Berbatov and Bent would walkin to our first team
tbf most of their players would get into our team
stekelenburg> chesney
riise> gibbs
hangeland> mertesacker
ruiz> rosicky
frei> ox
taarabt>ramsey
berbatov> giroud
bent> bendtner
we're fucked.
1-1
1-3.
Stopped reading there as you lost all credibility. One super 40 yard goal every 3 years doesn't make a left back. Riise is very very ordinary, hope he plays as Theo will rip his old slow fat ass a new one. Fairly sure i read somewhere recently they'd released him on a free transfer anyway?
0-3
I will be in London during this game, so a loss for sure :run:
We'll win and we'll win well. They'll be another reaction.
0 - 2. Giroud and Carzola.
That's rubbish and you know it is. We're not that terrible ...... yet.
:threaten:
Have you thought about a weekend trip to Paris?
I hate Paris as well, it's a shithole with beggars eveywhere, the streets are filtlhy and the palce is so damn expensive. Back to football. I have this horrible feeling that we are going to lose at Fulham, I dunno why just a gut feeling. Looks like were going to be o and 2 as the yanks say.
Paris is shit tbh
Lawro :lol:Quote:
Who would have thought that Fulham would have bought more players by this stage of the season than Arsenal? They have bought well, too.
I felt the Cottagers still needed a midfielder but they have got a quality one in Scott Parker and Martin Jol's squad looks strong.
Winning at Sunderland was a great start and this will be a real test for Arsenal.
I watched the Gunners against Fenerbache in their Champions League qualifier in midweek and, although it took them until the second half to really get going, they were convincing winners.
Their home defeat to Aston Villa was a bad result but it was blown out of proportion because it was the first weekend of the season - they did not actually play that badly.
Whatever happens in this game, people are going to be talking about who Arsene Wenger could or should buy, and that will continue until the transfer window shuts.
Prediction: 1-1
The team's going to be burnt out in the first month of the season with all these matches so close together, injuries, all the back-up sold or loaned out and no new signings. Moyes would be crying if he had to play Wednesday night and then early on Saturday.
We play better away from home now though and playing on the break suits us, so I think a narrow pubtastic win reminiscent of the latter part of last season is possible.
1-2 (Berbatov, Theo, Mertesacker).
We are unbeaten away from home so far this season tbh
Only conceded once in our last seven away games.
And we never lose with Sagna at centre-back.
Thought Paris was ok tbh, no different to most European capital cities. Very diverse.
Yeah but it's full of french people.
Exactly. It's like Arsenal, but bigger
:(
The Villa result DID reflect the game Wenger, so stop your nonsense.
1-3 away win
1-1 lacking sharpness blah blah, we are working on signings et al
Imagine if we lose, the Spuds game will be massive
I am not confident at all about this game. Jol seems to have sussed AW out of late, we are usually crap on a Saturday lunchtime and I'm not convinced Sagna at CD is a great move and he'll be found out against these wily old foxes. I've stuck a tenner on Fulham at 3/1. Scant consolation but the £26 I got out of the Villa game came in handy for paying for drowning myself in beer.
Hoping for goals and assists from giroud, Walcott and cathorla for my dream team
Need a clean sheet for Mert and Jenkinson and goals and assists from Theo.
Other than that, not really fussed about the game
Arsenal team to play Fulham: Szczesny, Jenkinson, Mertesacker (c), Sagna, Gibbs, Ramsey, Rosicky, Cazorla, Walcott, Podolski, Giroud
