There was an interesting hashtag trending on twitter earlier and it got me thinking, what was the best goal you've ever seen scored by us? After that goal on Saturday, many are saying it was our best ever but do you agree?

There were a couple of Thierry goals that were sublime and RVP's vs Charlton wasn't too bad. But personally, the way Bergkamp turned Dabizas inside out will always be my favourite because it summed up Wengerball at the time. It was a delight to watch us play pure football before oil money invaded the premier league and fuelled a money grabbing culture. And of course, Bergkamp is a legend and the goal epitomised his class and elegance.

But I can see why Jack's would be regarded as the best. What do you think?

It depends on whether you take emotion out of the equation, I guess. There are some goals, under differring circumstances that become your "best", though not necessarily from a technical point of view.

I agree with the Bergkamp one though. And it was pretty important at the time too I think. We had a horrific injury list, and needed to win away at Newcastle....

There's alot to choose from :s But just to add a different one, i like Walcotts box2box run vs Liverpool, could've been one of the best if he hammered it in himself.

Team effort wise, our goal this weekend was the best

Individual effort wise: TH14 against Leeds

My choice? The goal this weekend! It was as if everyone on the pitch were on the same wavelength. It was beautiful! :cloud9:

Good but best ever? I'm dubious.

The Fabregas goal was a lot of fun but nowhere near best ever.

Yeah, that happened right at the beginning of the second half.

A personal fav of mine has always been Pires' double chip vs Aston Villa.

Cashley's against Villa was awesome.

To be honest there are so many to choose from it's impossible to narrow it down.

There's so many. I'm going to be thinking about it all day at work. Some of the one's I'm thinking of weren't even that good, but were just special because of the importance of the goal, i.e Wiltord vs the mancs, but i'll leave those out.

We've scored some great team goals but Wilshere's was the best just because of how little space we had, and the accuracy of those one touch flicks.

Henry against Man Utd, holding off a defender just outside the box, flicking the ball up and volleying it into the top corner.

Bergkamp vs Newcastle was magical, great piece of skill

RvP's goal against charlton was possibly the best volley I've ever seen

Henry dribbling past the whole Real madrid team and slotting it into the corner with his left

Wrighty vs everton was pretty special too

One of my favourites is Kevin Campbell against Sheffield Wednesday. We won 7-1, but his turn and volley (similar to Henry vs Utd) opened the flood gates after a turgid 70 minutes.

Vieira against spurs. Winning yhe league. The perfect counter attack. I do like a counter attack goal.

best solo goal - Henry v spurs in 2002/3 (where he ran the entire pitch)

best goal in terms of the moment, emotion of it etc. that was Henry v leeds. that was magical
