Wow the Board must be shitting themselves that 0.05% of the home gate are a bit narked plus a couple memberships lost from GW I expect resignations NOW!
Fairplay to them though, might want to do a bit more recruiting, plus Lettuce should have been at the front handing them GW leaflets ;)
yeah this was the crap about 'losing our arsenal' or something
The one in Argentina :good:
Seriously though, just want a club that is more interested in what we do on the pitch than what we do off it.
How many times have we heard/read Wenger or Gazidis say "we have made a profit" blah blah blah whilst on the pitch where it matters, we regress
True enough about handing out GW leaflets. They'd fit in well here. Not in the MOC, obviously.
"We're here! We're queer! We don't want any more bears!"
Given that I post on an Arsenal forum and knew fuck all about this pretty much tells us that organizers are wankers
x
yes but once they were in you could get them to look in to your eyes...

"YOU WILL AWAKE REFRESHED AND OPTIMISTIC..."
It's on!!
Probably a lot less than many people accuse them of saying it. I suspect that Gazidis only talks about profit around the time of the release of Arsenal's financial figures. Personally I do not think that Wenger talks about Arsenal making a profit per se: I only recall hearing him talk about being financially responsible.
We may not agree with Wenger's (and Arsenal's) transfer policies but let's criticism him for that rather than invent reasons because to do so dilutes the impact of the valid criticism.
i hate arzenal
Just about sums up the apathy of Arsenal fans!
Walking from a pub you were gonna be in anyways to a match you were gonna watch anyways.
Protest 'marching'
Dunno. I find 60,000 fans booing and spouting verbal abuse a far more effective proponent of change tbh.
Yep, heard about the protest but it's about the season ticket hike. Some fans have been going to the games for years and simply can't afford the increase. It was mentioned on most of the blogs in the run up.
Wenger doesn't mention profit as such, but there are times when he justifies our spending decisions and lack of success in the league by pointing to the balance sheet, claiming we're a well functioning "business" and worse of all, he responded angrily to at the AGM meeting in 2009, claiming shareholders have nothing to complain about, because they've had a good return on their investment. What Wenger doesn't realise is that owning shares in a football club is different to owning shares in Microsoft. It's when he makes comments like this does it really piss off fans, because he's acting more like a free market fundamentalist than a football manager.
