They are looking at an internal solution for the short term I suspect, this stefan O'Connor kid has been awarded a berth in the first team squad. Could go one of two ways, he could be inspired like Callum Chambers or he could crumble from the pressure of being thrown in at the deep end too soon.
rather give a guy who has played centre back at some stage as opposed to an average left back. how can monreal be a serious CB option? we have a wage bill of £150m and yet that is the best we can do for a back up centre back. luckily we are at home, away at hull and it could have been a lot trickier. hopefully Walcott on the bench.Quote:
