Back to not really caring.
Meh, we couldn't do it when it mattered so don't really care now about Tuesday. I'm certainly not going to be scratching around for a stream.
Just seen that Spurs have Liverpool next away. Lovely....can't have them having too much fun hey.....
If Pool win, and we win, we're back above the scum.
my team would be:
Ospina
Bellerin
Merts
Koscileny
Montreal
Coq
Santi
Ozil
Theo
Welbeck
Alexis
3-0.
Wenger needs to cut the crap now - Sanchez & Theo playing wide of Welbz up top - Giroud should be behind Akpon on the bench. Coq holding (but not too much coz its only Leicester Arsene!) Ozil & Santi pushing forward from CM.
Goals galore if we want them but our manager is more likely to ask them to sit back & defend if we go 1-0 up.
We don't have any heavyweight pairings! - We are at home to Leicester, they will park the bus. Therefore we need our more inventive players in & around the box to be sneaking Sanch & Theo in. Waste of time with the likes of Ramsey or Ox because their passing is woeful. Could have a case for Rosicky with his ability to run at defenders & create space but he's hardly anymore heavyweight.
Ozil will start on the left and stink the place up.
5-0
I'm not sure Welbeck has earned a start ahead of Giroud....
A chance to go above Spurs. Yay!
This comes too soon after the NLD for me to be looking forward to it, it's not because I'm in any way apprehensive its just that such defeats are so soul crushing that three points against the bottom side in the league is a minimum expectation rather than what it should have been, a nice easy fixture after a hard earned result.
So, a preordained loss for the spuds on their visit to the hubcap snatchers, putting us right back in virtual trophy contention and above the scum, as we'll certainly reactivate full flat track bully mode against LC, and all will be rosy in Wenger Garden again.
Yay! :cheer:
:ilt:
Thought Welbeck was one of the better performers on Saturday. Lots of energy, seemed to appreciate the importance of the game, got a little complicated with his play at times but the intensity was there and the desire.
Arsenal: Ospina, Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Rosicky, Walcott, Cazorla, Ozil, Alexis - He's fit enough to play now :rolleyes:
Subs: Szczesny, Gibbs, Gabriel, Flamini, Ramsey, Welbeck, Giroud
Leicester City: Schwarzer, Simpson, Huth, Morgan (c), Upson, Konchesky, Mahrez, Cambiasso, James, Schlupp, Kramarić
Subs: Hamer, Drinkwater, King, Albrighton, Ulloa, Wasilewski, Nugent.
I'm guessing Wenger will go with this:
============= Ozil ===============
Ospina == Cazorla == Walcott == Koscielny
============ Alexis ===============
= Merts == Bellerin == Coquelin == Rosicky
============Monreal ==============

Alexis leads the team on tackles :bow:
Is there any way we can prevent Nigel Pearson from wringing Sanchez`s neck today. I've always suspected that there was something of the Vinny Jones about him.
No commentary:

Coquelin wasn't booked. :faint:
AW will do anything for Ozil to start.. shouldve been on the bench and had Welbeck/Giroud upfront!
Already with the careless passing.
We've actually started very poorly but it's being masked by how bad Leicester are.
Wenger shuffles out in his sleeping bag to complain about time wasting.
pretty dull so far
again another Leicester chance!
