this will be a very good signing but still surprised Chelsea are agreeing to this, unless this is just a master plan of theirs to pull the plug at the last minute.
I just think that they reason he may well join us for free next season anyway and why piss off a player who has been a good club servant.

Even though Lampard and Cech are relative saints in the world of Chelsea, it is hard to be positive about someone who has spent over a decade in the company of Terry, Mourinho and other ooze-based humanoids.

I think quite a few of his ex players have slagged him off actually or at least have politely alluded to his flaws, divisiveness or simply actually being a mere mortal like the rest of us.
