I would really like it if we beat them.
If we win:
We go 9 points clear of them, 75% of the points gap we need to make up from last season
We'll keep the pressure on Maureen
We might be killing off their realistic title prospects
The pressure will be off Wenger and Ty will try to claim this is a new dawn
If we lose:
Despite the fuck awful start they'll only be 3 points behind us
We'll have kick-started their season and they won't look back
They'll feel they are back in the title hunt with everything to play for
The pressure will be off Maureen
The pressure will be off Wenger - because our board won't do a fucking thing
Result - a guaranteed loss. This is prime loss territory for us. You couldn't get more of a loss scenario.
You surprise me :sarcy:
If we win Mourinho may actually kill himself. So if that's not enough incentive I don't know what is.
Mike Dean is the ref btw.
The love i have for the club always tells me this time is gonna be different, we will go there and produce the perfect performance and get the win. However, i have seen enough over the years and know that this game will end with Chelsea winning. Its depressing to know but thats the way the club is under Winegar. We should be able to at least get draw considering tghe likes of Palace and Swansea went to Stamford Bridge and outplayed them from start to finish but with Winegar you know he will do his bit to make sure we are left short either by choosing the wrong players or formation.
Mike Dean. They were at home on Wednesday, we were in Croatia. 12:45 kick off. Mike Dean. We'll play tippy tappy to give their beleaguered defence an easy ride. Wenger will pick the wrong team. Wenger will make the wrong subs. Mike Dean. Azzahhh will be diving all over the shop. We'll have a stone wall pen denied when Ozil is shot in the face at point blank range by Mikel.
Death, taxes and the result of this match - the only certainties in life.
Usually there are 3 possible outcomes to a game.Win-draw-Lose
This game also has 3 options. Lose, lose badly, require anal surgery.
Uneventful goalless draw or an uneventful 1-0 Chelsea win.
As mentioned before on here, we were playing in Croatia less than 3 days having to play this lot at their place.
We rested a few on Wednesday but even so a draw would be a miracle.
This kind of thing happened a couple of years ago, we played Napoli in Italy on Wednesday night and lost and then played Man City away and got beat 6-3.
A loss is inevitable I'm afraid.
Predict a convincing win for Chelsea at least 4-0. Tactically Mourinho is streets ahead of Wenger.
I'm more optimistic than the rest of you, which isn't hard and I think after his antics abroad, he will go with Theodore rather than the hot headed Adonis. Bellerin and Nacho have the beating of Azzpills and Ivanovic and I am hoping that is key....
Most struggling team are guaranteed a pick me up when they face Wengers team. Even down in the dumps Terry will get his lion heart back after this one.
Terry for Engurlund!!!!!
Wenger's decision to rotate so disastrously on Wednesday was to me symptomatic of his shortcomings. At this stage in the season having 'fresh' players is not what will make the difference on Saturday, tactics and execution will. In any event, Alexis; Kossy; Santi - all key players - will start. Why does Wenger seem wary of running down certain players but not others?

Wouldn't completely disagree with this. It shows where we either need to improve or bring in solid cover.
Freshness shouldn't be an issue at this stage in the season but we know what he's like with the excuses.
Since we rotated, freshness and sharpness shouldn't be an issue but I wouldn't be surprised if he complains about us having to travel away and then coming back for an early Saturday kick off. ;)
He can't whip that one out because today he said he made the previous team selection partly based on the fact we were travelling late.
Anyway, 3-0 Chelsea, Bellerin hat-trick.
Anybody else seen the compilation of great Arsenal and Chelsea goals on the BBC website?
It is shite.
Robben's from 2005 makes it on.
At times I think we can win, then I remember we're managed by WUMger
1-1
COYG :scarf:
5-1 to the chavs. Azza with a hattrick.
Couple of hours to go.
Just for once - fucking win it. Put Maureen to bed and tuck him in. Send his bus conductors into the relegation zone. Make that nasty little piece of shit eat his words.
Surely we are 100% up for this one?
They have to be, you can't rest players and then pull a shit performance in the game you rested them for. Although I am sure we'll try our best to.
We've been here before remember. Wengers 1000th game. What happened then?. Good thing is Merts is too shell shocked to play. Gabriel to do the nasty on Diego Costa hopefully. Walcott instead of the statue. Hope for the best.
Arsenal: Cech, Monreal, Koscielny, Gabriel, Bellerin, Coquelin, Cazorla, Ramsey, Ozil, Alexis, Theo.

He's picked the right team. So far so good. No complaints today - so far.
Ramsay, cow, bellerin, the, nacho and cech all come in.
Terry on the bench.
We have to work the shit out of Ivanovic. That guy is cooked now and every team has been taking advantage of it. Mourinho is dumb enough to stick with him so Alexis and more importantly Monreal haven to exploit the shit out of it.
stream plz.
