Proof that Wenger was wrong not to sign players in the summer, Graeme Souness thinks he was right
Expecting a tight game, most of the recent derbies have been decided by the odd goal.
Need to bounce back after the other night.

WUMger says Kos should be back.
Bellerin is out though. FFS.
Good news or a blessing in disguise . The more Debuchy plays the better he will be . We tend to forget before his injury Mathieu was well ahead of Bellerin . Time for him to recover his form . And he can get that by only having more minutes on the pitch . Spurs are no Bayern Munich to trouble him . When both Hector and Mathieu are competing and on top form , It will bring the best out of them.
Indeed, Debuchy is a top, experienced international full back. While I'd rather have Bellerin in there, I'm happy with Debuchy as backup.
If we actually rotated more, we wouldn't have this situation where players take ages to play themselves into form. Happened to Vermaelen who was wretched at times but could also be excellent in crucial games for us.
2-0 no worries. Although I do wonder why Sanchez played 90 minutes on Wednesday but Campbell was taken off at 4-0 down. Surely Sanchez needs to be rested.
Beating these overrated pricks no problem by two goals.
got a bad feeling about this game. A lot of it is to do with our back 4, not confident tbh.
Our back 4 is the best defence in the league and Debuchy is a fine replacement for Bellerin.
Koscielny is little bit 80% fit. So he'll play.
Someone needs to tell Debuchy to just stay in his right-back area and not move. For some reason, he's usually near the opposition box or in Coquelin's position. He's definitely the weak link.
If we start well and score first, we should win. I'll go for 9-0.
If we had Theo, Ramsey and Bellerin available, I'd be certain we'd give them a double-figures kicking.

Little bit nervous for this. Has a big game feel to it.
Come on you Gunners!
Can anybody really see us going 8 points clear of those dreamers ?
I just can't see it happening.
Hope I'm wrong, come on Arsenal.
Have to say I'm with you on that one. November is traditionally our fuck up month and we started it with a bang on Wednesday. Bad feelings about Debuchy and our lack of pace. To make things a bit less dogshit I've stuck £7 on an away win at 4-1 and £3 on a draw at 3-1. That way I'll get £35 if we lose, money back if we draw, and if we win I'll be so fucking happy it'll be worth losing a tenner...
You bet against us?
Jesus wept...
The likes of Theo, Ramsay and Bellerin allow us to start on fire like we did against man ure, we came out of the blocks and ran at them immedaitly, got 3 goals and settled the game. With Campbell, Debuchy and Giroud, we lack that pace and movement and Spuds will be able to keep it tight and grow into the game.
COME ON ARSENAL!!!! Lets cunt these cunts!
Thought Debuchy was tragic in the first half against Bayern but started to find his way into the match in the second half. He seemed to have good energy in the last 15 mins. Looked to be slowly recovering his form. Giroud up top though without any pace to support him, that's a problem. When we get our chances today we need to be clinical, no fucking around because we might not get many chances.
Sanchez and Campbell are pacey enough. The problem is Giroud needs service from wide areas and those guys will play as inverted wingers looking for goals and service themselves. They'll cut in rather than go wide and cross and that doesn't work with Giroud. Two inverted wingers either side of a pacey player works better but with a player like Giroud it's predictable.
Campbell pacey? Over the first couple of yards he's about as pacey as Merts. Giroud in lazy mode doesn't give the wide men anything to hit. That's why they have to try to make things happen themselves. We need 100% commitment for 90 mins from Bif today. He owes us after that Bayern stroll.
Tottenham: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Alli, Dier; Dembele, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane.
win and we legitimately go top, top, TOP of the league
.....given our injuries and the fact it's a derby, i don't really care how, just win today please boys, just win
COYG!
Let's hope we don't need to rely on the bench to get goals. Apart from Flamini of course.
