The atmosphere for this game will be morgue like.

It's too late for this season but if people want to protest effectively they'll have to en masse refuse to renew their season tickets. Can't see it happening but it's the only language they understand.
It's even gone to general sale! I haven't seen that happen in years!

Won't happen. The queue is too long and the lure of football too great. It's not as if you can pick an alternative down the road. They'll do some early transfer business and kick out a bit of hype. Fans will pay. But there's a strong message in the fact they've paid this season but can't be arsed to turn up for the final few games. We've let the season fade out again without fighting to the end. Quite right the fans have lost interest. All they are doing is reflecting what the club seems to be about. And how humiliating if the main season ending excitement it turning up to see if we can pip van Gaal's plodders to the 4th Place Trophy. I trust we can secure that spot without further embarrassment, at least. But you never know.Quote:
