The atmosphere for this game will be morgue like.
The perverse side of me kind of wants to go just to see how bad it has got.
Anyway, 4th place cup under serious threat now, so they'll probably spoil us with a win. 2-1.
Can someone just go to the game so they can punch TY in the face? Dont care about the game result really.
Blimey, I've got beige membership and they are trying to flog me tickets, they don't even normally contact me about pre-season. Best league in the world eh.
The Emirates will be :tumbleweed:
I don't think they'll be any anger Thursday night either just complete resignation.
I sorted out some tickets for a work colleague and they're asking if I want to by them back
I actually prefer Ty to Claude, Ty is completely deluded as a fan but Claude shows his ignorance by shouting him down when he's being interviewed. If I was Ty I'd have laid him out, miserable old git.
AFTV is a strong indicator that you can agree with someone broadly but still think they are a c**t. I agree with some of what Piers Morgan says, but he's just a massive slimy turd. As much as I despise Clarkson I thought it was great when he landed one on him.
I got the same email and I haven't bought a ticket on my account in 3.5 years!

Best news of the month. It's the only message they'll pay attention to, revenue pressures. They deserve an empty stadium after a season like that. Perfectly fair response from the fans. And there's nothing to see anyway. The football is shit.
It's too late for this season but if people want to protest effectively they'll have to en masse refuse to renew their season tickets. Can't see it happening but it's the only language they understand.
It's even gone to general sale! I haven't seen that happen in years!

Yellow indicates tickets still available for West Brom
Great stuff!
Won't happen. The queue is too long and the lure of football too great. It's not as if you can pick an alternative down the road. They'll do some early transfer business and kick out a bit of hype. Fans will pay. But there's a strong message in the fact they've paid this season but can't be arsed to turn up for the final few games. We've let the season fade out again without fighting to the end. Quite right the fans have lost interest. All they are doing is reflecting what the club seems to be about. And how humiliating if the main season ending excitement it turning up to see if we can pip van Gaal's plodders to the 4th Place Trophy. I trust we can secure that spot without further embarrassment, at least. But you never know.
Will win comfortably on Thursday now that the pressure of finishing 2nd is no longer with us....phew
Pressure of finishing 2nd
The trouble is that it's a bit of a catch 22. We'll probably have a new manager in a year or 2, so if you give up a season ticket or gold/silver membership now you there's no chance in hell you're going to reach that level of membership again for years, if at all.
Apart from showing disdain at the games, there really isn't much else people can do if they want to remain match going fans in the future.
Im always hoping i go on skysports and their breaking news is "Arsene Wenger resigns".
That would be great.
You are more likely to see breaking news: Arsene Wenger signs contract extension keeping him at the club until (pick your own date).
If that happens it will tell us everything we need to know (and already suspect) about Kroenke. And it will confirm he's a stupid man too. A significant number of fans are going to walk away from this if it drags on - to be replaced by tourists, yes, but tourists don't give you repeat business. Players are going to walk away too. If Wenger gets a new contract it means Kroenke is so greedy and so out of the loop that nothing much matters anyway. Club will be dead if that happens.
I honestly think he believes there will be enough people who will renew their season tickets come what may, combined with tourism and combined with tv money that it won't matter. Wenger I think will consider doing the noble thing and stepping down but I don't think he will be able to let go. Gazidis aside, no one at the club has any footballing knowledge and the reason they are scared of getting rid of Wenger is because they literally have no idea what they'd do after that because they have deferred everything to him.
Thats the biggest concern.
the reason why i cant see us going for a manager like Simeone is because guys like him are all about day to day coaching and football on match day, the board want Wenger to stay on forever as he does everything for them in terms of money.
don't really care too much, I might watch it but I think masterchef is on at the same time. IT doesn't really matter I am sure we will still finish 3rd and that would be seen as something to celebrate. then the talking of signings can begin as season ticket renewal notices go out.
I think in fairness, people will renew their season tickets regardless of what they are or are not promised
Arsenal is part of their life regardless of how things are going on the pitch.
Going to this.
Said nobody ever.
To be fair if someone paid for my ticket and transport id probably go
I genuinely think this will have about the same attendance as a carling cup fixture against lower league opposition.
Up to you, I'm not as principled as you obviously
Must win.
Our specialty.
