Time for the second stringers to stretch their legs.
Time for the second stringers to stretch their legs.
Given our relative lack of injuries thus far (Shad and the Japanese bloke ) we'll see a lot of first teamers start I guess.
Ospina
Debauchy
Holding
Gabriel
Gibbs
Elneny
Xhaka
Ramsey (if fit)
Lucas
Giroud
Ox
I think The Jeff will get a start. I hope so anyway. Ox can sit it out.
Henri Lansbury is the Forest captain.
3-0, Dennis Bendtner hat-trick.
Ve Vill Vin EFL :scarf:
Always had a soft spot for Forest even though I've never even been to Nottingham. Probably the Brian Clough connection
1998 last time we played them if I recall?
Keown scored the only goal
We'd still be playing in baggy white vests and rolled up trousers if it wasn't for them.
Some ex forest players turned up to join with those kits on and because we were broke we decided to copy. Always pleading poverty.
I wonder how many of us would be spurs fans if we'd never made the journey from Woolwich
Play the boys team and if we lose its a good thing.
Just get rid of it.
Lucas should play the 90 minutes.
3-0 loss.
Ospina, Debuchy, Holding, Bielek, Gibbs, Elneny, Ramsey, Geoff, Perez, Ox, Giroud
No first teamers should be anywhere near Nottingham tomorrow night.
If/when we get injuries in this match it should not affect the first team at all.
Very much hope Arsenal lose this one.
Gabriel could be back for this.
Giroud and Ramsey still out.
Martinez
Debuchy, Gabriel, Holding, Gibbs
Xhaka, ElNeny
Jeff, Ox, Lucas
Akpom
I think Wenger will have similar views. He doesn't value anything that doesn't have a significant cash value attached. He also lacks even a basic understanding of momentum and confidence, which is why his teams can't string a consistent season together and can crash at the most unlikely moments and fall at the least significant hurdles. Better managers know that maintaining a peak performance right across the squad is greatly assisted by a winning mentality and success breeds success. Our performance in this competition last season was one of the embarrassing low points (from many). It would be great to see a well organised team go out tomorrow and methodically take the opposition apart, as we'd be quite capable of doing if we had a man in charge who was committed to excellence. Won't happen. We'll do the bare minimum. Even that should be enough in this instance, but this unprofessional and unambitious outlook will cost us when it comes to bigger challenges. It always does.
As I recall, we played a fairly strong teamed against Sheffield Wednesday last year and still lost. To add insult too injury, Walcott and Ox were both injured, both within minutes of coming on and were out for a while.
While it would be nice to win this cup, it is a turd of a competition and I really couldn't care less what happens tomorrow. Waste of time, lets hope we don't pick up any injuries for the real stuff on the weekend.
Because we are such a confidence side, any result no matter how insignificant can have a knock on effect in the next game, therefore i hope we win
Of course i think we will lose to chelsea come what may because we are ridiculously easy for them to play against
If anything we need to win just so the likes of Giroud, Debauchy, Gibbs, Ospina, Lucas etc etc actually get some game time this season.
You seem to have forgotten about our pending injury crisis.
Xhaka, Elneny, Ox and Perez will start tonight. Akpom also starting so Perez may be on the wing. Ox probably through the middle.
Is Debauchy dead?
And why no Ospina?
Well he's certainly fucking this cup off so we shouldn't expect too much from tonight.
A real mash up of a team. Bench is a shocker as well.
Oh well.
You guys need to win, and concede, so I can't be blamed for fucking up the work acca.
Disappointed to see Xhaka and Elneny playing, means Wenger is determined to play Coqzorla at the weekend
Defeat assured
LORD Bendtner
Not a bad starting XI. The bench is awful though. Glad we are resting our best player so far this season, Santi.
Anyone got any working AceStream links for this?
Jeff sents one to Adelaide.
Not Acestream but this seems to alright atm
