The excitement builds as the season curtain raiser approaches.
This is probably the biggest league match ever played on a Friday night.
And its LIVE!!!

An exciting opening of the Cadbury's Premier League.
0-0
I do think Friday night football is a good concept. I'm guessing Sky don't like it as the ratings aren't as good
Trying to think how many games we've actually played on a Friday
Played four of them during the unbeaten season
all at home
3-2 Newcastle
3-0 Wolves
4-2 Liverpool
5-0 Leeds
3-0 Ozil hattrick
Rachel Riley isn't on this anymore.

And so it begins.
3-0
Giroud hat-trick
First game to be played under the glow of radiation from WWIII
And it's LIVE!
We are more unprepared than usual for this season opener. You have to admire Wenger's ability to make things worse even when it seemed rock bottom had been reached.
Our two stars, both mysteriously injured before the kickoff. According to Wenger it's ideal, just the way we want it to be.
Thing is, it's not impossible to manage things with a fly-by-seat-of-pants philosophy. You throw caution to the wind, take risks and use skill, judgement, super fast reactions and steel balls to run the course and get to the end.
But in Wenger we have a guy who is incompetent BUT conservative once the outcome of his incompetency strikes. It's a double headed nightmare.
He prepares for a season like the way I used to revise for exams.
The outcomes are both usually C Grade
So, yawn, who do you think will win, yawn?
Us, yawn, versus the ex-champs, yawn.
And it's live, yawn. If you cough up enough cash, yawn.
Pirate streams - WOO HOO! Only thing to get excited about. Can the pirates keep shoving that pay wall up Sky and BT's arses? LIVE?
Come on you Pirate Streams!
We're by FAR the greatest pirate stream, the world has ever seen, and it's pi-rate stre-ams...
Quite looking forward to this.
Excitement really is reaching fever pitch...
:tumbleweed:
On a forum with about 4 active users, it's not too bad.
Besides, we can't all be on the public sector gravy train.
I did have gravy with my lunch in Warsaw today so I guess that is almost literally accurate :d
PS. The gravy train left years ago. I missed it. I do get to swan around a bit but I get paid like crap so...meh.
Get a job!
Also, if you did the sensible thing and made me an admin like everyone has been demanding, you'd have a lot more members here.
Tbf, I forgot the season was starting today. Logging onto GW reminded me, otherwise I'd have missed it :-)
Mike Dean is the ref for this.
Start as you mean to go on.
COYG!
Holding over Mustafi? Right decision on form but whether the latter will be happy with that remains to be seen.
A bit worried about the lack of height at the back without either Per or Kos but it'll do I suppose.
Should have enough quality to the business but we always do poorly on the opening day.
If anyone has a decent stream, post it pls
They've been really clamping down on them - it's really hard to get a decent flash one.
I'll be checking this thread around 10 mins before kick off and hoping something good comes up.

Might actually have to looking into getting a VPN.
Why on earth is Monreal masquerading as a CB when there are real CB`s available?.
I know why...the manager is deranged.
Edit: Make that 2 LB masquerading as CB......Playing Ox as a wingback, when Kola can do the job better.....the madness has started all over again.
Two left backs starting as CB. Risky. Really not sure about Welbeck starting either.
Probably means that Gabriel is off.
Don't see why Per couldn't play - his injury seemed entirely superficial.
Apart from that it's the best lineup available. Iwobi needs to work on his end product before he can claim a regular starting place.
Koscielny suspended, Mertesacker Cahilled, Gabriel injured and Mustafi not 100% after just returning to training.
At the least do some basic research before resorting to self-harming FFS.
They should all be back next week (apart from Koscielny).
Monreal has been outstanding at both LB and CB so the only risk is Kolasinac.
5-1. Welbeck hat-trick.
True though Welbeck's overall play is a lot better and he makes the team tick a lot better. Guaranteed starter for me as long as he's fit.
Fuck Theo though. We all know he's only starting to play well because he finally realises that his place in the squad is under threat now. Completely selfish player ..... we've all been here before with him.
LACAZETTE!
