Giroud out of this, shame really, he usually does well against them and has done okay off the bench this season.
This could go two ways, we could bully them like we did Spurs or we could start slow like we did against Man ure and be 2-0 down early on. They have a lot of attacking talent, should be a tough one.
Huge job keeping that attack out but Liverpool strike me as flat track bullies. The top sides have all managed to contain them and in some cases dish out a spanking of their own.
Think we might nick this. 2-1.
No doubt we’ll need to approach with caution though given they’ve scored at least 3 against us in all of the meetings since Klopp has been there.
Since the start of the century we haven’t gone more than five league games without a win over this lot
The longest period we went without winning against them was just over three years between November 2006 and December 2009

Will we be properly prepared? Will the team selection be sane? Will players be playing in their best positions? Will we start with conviction? Will we give 100%? Will we defend properly? These are the questions we have to ask before every game now, and it's becoming normal. As if it is acceptable and part and parcel of the process.
It can be translated. We could ask, will our 10 mill a year manager do his job? or not? And if we have to ask that he should be sacked.
I usually call for him to leave after the game. Today I'm calling for him to leave before the game.

This game is going to be really uncomfortable viewing IMO. Liverpool are the 2nd best attacking team in PL and are going to cause our defence no end of problems. They are suspect at the back and questionable in Midfield so are in some ways built like us but their attack is pretty clinical and has a lot of pace. We’ll lose 3-2, I simply cannot see us outscoring them.
