It'll be a miracle if we can nick a draw.
4-1 loss.
Guaranteed defeat.
3-1.
Nah. Have some faith in the team. Last two games against top teams have shown they are up for it.
Easy away win.
Ok, maybe reel it in a little bit...
Even a result for us would be laced with the Spuds probably getting closer to the top. :rose:
Sokratis and who else in defence. Play one of the kids ...or Steve Bould. Anything to avert another Koscielny human annihilation event.
If we play well it could be a draw, but if we play badly it'll be a cricket score - one to watch from behind the sofa methinks...
Shit this is tomorrow night. All the days have merged.
4-4.
4-1.
I cannot see us getting anything out of this game. They have conceded 7 goals in 19 and have such a potent attack its really difficult to see anything other than a convincing home win.
We really miss Holding and Bellerin (and Mustafi to a certain extent). If we play Koscielny i can see us getting hammered.
Also: Litchsteiner against Mane/Robertson down our right gives me nightmares.
Ozil definitely out with a 'knee problem'.
I know he can be a bit of a pussy in the big away games but he is still our best playmaker and the way Emery has handled him has been very disappointing. I'd understand if we had better options but ffs Iwobi is being regularly picked ahead of Ozil and that cannot be allowed to happen. Who is gonna create for us tomorrow? We couldn't even open up Brighton once Ozil came off, how does Emery expect to threaten the best defence in the league?
IMO the Ozil situation could have been dealt with much better. Emery can find a way of fitting in Ozil without changing his tactics/formation.
Ozil’s had teachers pet approach under Wenger and was just as flakey. Fuck that guy. If he can’t handle the expectation of the type of game Emery wants to play then he’s a liability. And let’s face it, what use would he be in a big game? It makes no difference if he’s on the pitch or not - he never turns up. Bellerin is a far bigger miss than Ozil. Hopefully Ozil is gone in a few weeks.
I didn't think Kos was too bad against Brighton.... but d still rather not see him. Is Mustafi back yet? Suppose he won't be ready even if he is..
Well Merson has predicted a 3-0 Liverpool win might not be too wrong :(
Yes but Merson’s a thick cunt. We’re not getting hammered tonight.
Bellerin being assessed ahead of kick off - his inclusion would be a big plus for our attack and defence.
Arsenal XI: Leno, Lichtsteiner, Sokratis, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Torreira, Ramsey, Maitland-Niles, Iwobi, Aubameyang.
Subs: Cech, Elneny, Koscielny, Lacazette, Guendouzi, Willock, Saka
Pretty depressing line up, certainly attacking wise.
Saka to come on and win it.
Old Man Rick will need to be wheeled on again I see. Mustafi back to give some stability.
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Shaqiri, Firmino, Mane, Salah.
Subs: Mignolet, Clyne, Keita, Henderson, Sturridge, Lallana, Origi
Ramsey and AMN.
Laca must be sleeping with Emery`s wife
Or he throws his toys out of the pram every time he makes a decision on him. Probably the second on review.
At least I can watch this game safe in the knowledge that Spurs arent winning this league
Just played it on FIFA. We won 0-1 thanks to er Elneny. Fabinho hit the post from two yards out stomehow.
Mane to score 2.
Quote me later when he does.
Come on Arsenal.
Probably would have preferred Medley in there over OML at the moment.
At least Xhaka is playing in midfield again. Until half-time anyway. Whatever his faults, we haven't had had a proper midfield since the defensive injury curse took hold. It's messed up two areas of the team with all the chopping and changing.
It would be decent of Ramsey and Iwobi to give us a good performance, otherwise it's all on Kolasinac to create the chances.
Come on Arsenal!
What the fuck was that?
